    Hi,

I used to think for years that my reference PALIT GTX680 couldn't be upped from 100% power, until today running Furmark due to separate problem solving event I noticed that the power suddenly was hovering at 120-125%.

I went to solving why it suddenly worked, and noticed, that if I set any antialiasing at all, the power stays at maximum 100%. Is this a normal(google as I might couldn't find anything on it), or is something weird with the reference design, or is it a PALIT related problem?

My system(it was the same thing in windows 7 pro as well):
    Windows 8.1 Pro
    Asus P8P67 Pro rev.3.1
    i7 2600k
    Palit Geforce GTX 680
    4x4g 1600mhz kingston hyperx
    120g&240g SSDs(kingston hyperx+ocz)
    3x1tb HDD
    As of posting:
    Latest MSI Afterburner
    Latest Nvidia drivers

yes, IMO it can be normal ,run heven or valley with no FAAA, you will find your fps go way higher and power will also go up .
I get lower power % with AA=8x than none .
In my cause its about 10% maybe but that might depend on res too .

OK, thanks, good to know I'm not the only one, pretty weird behaviour. Makes me wonder what causes that seemingly artificial cap.
