There are no multi gpu profiles for this game yet regardless of vendor, but we will rectify that soon. :)

Happy to help and looking forward to getting some time to play this myself. So far my play time has equated to running the benchmark sequence repeatedly whilst testing many different custom crossfire profiles. :eyes:

I've reported that but no update as of yet I'm afraid Deathchild. As soon as i know more, I'll let you know. :)

    I don't think Dead Rising 3 supports multiple GPU's.

Yep, we need a new Capcom's upgrade with multi-gpu enabled.

Not a very constructive post. If you don't have anything important to add then don't.

And thanks for the update Matt, good on ya sir. :)

I think as soon as the next round of cards from AMD or a 980 ti hits, I am just going to see what I can get for these three cards and go to a single card solution. Crossfire, has been a huge pain for me. It works absolutely fantastic in a most DX11 titles, most dx9 games I start getting checkerboard flashes periodically followed by a hard hard crash. Not to mention quite a few games just never get fixed right, anything by ubisoft for example.

    @ AMD Matt

Do u perhaps know about a crossfire profile for Project Cars?
The scaling is just bad, about 40% more.

When using AFR u get flickering.

    Thanks.

We need more crossfire's profiles, a new program specifically with updates more quickly like the nvidia method.

Could you provide a little more information please such as your system specs, resolution and settings used etc? Does AFR perform better?

AFR performs better yes and no stutters, but got flickering at text and bodyparts of the cars. Scaling is about 40-45% max.

When I use the pCARS profile I get about 80% scaling.

PCARS give me less scaling than AFR.

Which settings do u use and resolution?

The new driver (14.9.2) fixes the flickering. I'll just copy my post from the other crossfire complaints thread here, I'd be interested to see if anyone else has the same findings:

I've noticed pretty good scaling at 1080p with 2x 280x cards (50% fps boost). However, there are still a few issues:
    - Scaling boost drops to about 10% when there's rain on the screen.
    - There's still some flickering when using in-game supersampling, possibly related to HDR exposure calculations or something. I've noticed it when panning the camera around quickly

Just gave it a quick try myself. I've got 2 280X's. No flickering in game or on the menu and I've got everything in ultra (except the textures) and I got a solid 60fps at 1080p. I tried running around and fighting clusters of orcs and got no stuttering.

Fair play I didn't expect them to manage that.

As confirmed this driver update contains a profile for Shadow Of Mordor and as you can see from the above, the flickering is now fixed. :)

Thanks for all the help. Appreciate it. It feels better having some sort of PR spokeperson communicating with the userbase/passing bugs along to driver team. Alas, now my performance in the game is worse...but I think that can be attributed more to the recent photo mode patch/motion blur bugfix. :p

Were there any "performance" reservations you know that had to be taken with this new profile? I'd assume you guys used the base 'AFR mode - no frame pacing' option that you recommended earlier in the thread (granted...I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to driver development) and made changes from there to fix the flickering?

Sorry for that 'probing' question. I'm not trying to interrogate you. I sincerely do appreciate your help. I'm more interested in the process than anything else. :]

    [EDIT]
I've also noticed the following regarding Crossfire scaling: (Primary GPU stays ~100% during these situations)

    1) Second GPU utilization hovers ~40-50% during rain (as has been mentioned)
    2) Second GPU utilization is very low with any motion blur enabled (camera OR camera + objects); ~15-25%.

Weird, my GPU utilization is the same across GPUs, but low (65%) during rain. Haven't noticed a drop with motion blur. The plot thickens.
