Everyone is entitled to an opinion...:infinity:

Mine is as I see and play it.
How anyone can praise this game is beyond me..

The graphics engine is poorly coded and has soft textures and has microstutter during video scenes.
The plot of the game is all over the place making the game repetitive with the same places visited over and over.
The puzzles are like from the 80's with sliding bars and having to do math to work out in between values and lock in shapes like something for kindergarten kids.
Way too many mission 19 of them and just when you though the nostromo had rid itself of the alien it comes back again and again.

Weapons are stupid and limited with fuel for flame thrower and others also limited during the journey.
I was able to complete the game to the end with one bar of health..LOL
The weapon crafting is dumb what do I want to do with the pipe bomb? is it ever used? or the noise machine? Is this crafting from Far cry 3?
The Alien AI is rubbish I have stood behind a desk and it is right beside me and walks right past...however, if it is above you the scanner cannot pick it up.... LOL
The androids are absolutely stupid. You flamethrow them and the fire keeps burning on them without effect yet in the egg mission the flame actually kills them.

    Spoiler**..
the egg mission there is no queen so who created the eggs? Dumb and even dumber seriously WTF?
The first 8-10 missions are extremely repetitive. Until you find the scanner you are aimlessly moving around looking for clues of where to go.
And the crap BS save feature is deliberately designed to stop you from finishing the game quickly... Wow well done Sega so original so clever!:stewpid:

Is it an amazing game?-YMMV but IMO No.
Does it have amazing graphics?- YMMV but IMO No.

    Overall 4/10. Mediocre at best.

Hmmm, worth a third playthrough to get the final One Shot achievement?

This game doesn't have that much replay value :(. Although it's recommended to try out different difficulty settings. The enemies really behave differently.

bro all games are still ps3/360 level, what makes alien iso special, is the volumetric lighting on the interiors, it's so realistic, the way the shadows and lighting blends into the scene, also the textures look very good, which makes the game very good graphically.

brightness settings helps in these times of games too.

    the darker, the better.

game is not meant to be see with brightness on high.

in brightness settings. you supposed to barely see the picture.

I turn it down so all you see in the outline of the picture.

can see shat in the vents. or in dark areas. but thats the point.

Using the latest set and have had zero issues with them. They're showing great performance in Alien, Mordor, Wolf: TNO and anything I've tried lately.

Such a beautiful game. Creative Assembly have done Ridley Scott's masterpiece full justice and paid Giger great homage with the Xenomorpoh.

It runs beautifully at 3440x1440 and looks amazing, even more so once you unlock the XML graphical additions.

I am 16 hours into the main campaign and it's been steady progress, not once felt bored or anything. The ambience is gloiriously detailed with sights and sounds all over. I played and recorded my first go at the Last Survivor DLC last night, see what you think!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glIETCwFcl8

That DLC is on STEAM now for £2.79, it's 20 odd mins long but very tense and wlel worth it for fans of the movie.

the way the light and shadows blends into the scene, it's a joy to watch you have to admit, they've captured the essence of the game completely, the art design is superb also.

That's exactly it! Normally I get bored watching gameplay videos but Isolation I could watch multiple times, it's the atmosphere and visuals and sounds all coming together for a beautiful cinematic experience.

If you have the flamethrower it's best to always have it equipped when you hear the alien coming. Then you can burn the **** out of it and it will leave.
