ummm, i'm not sure is same engine but game is definitely upgraded from last year. PC version now uses everything from next gen consoles
Man, dem sports games need to keep up with the times, dat gfx.. *yawn* Probably 60fps even on consoles thus the age old visuals
Besides face textures what do 2k games have? nothing Also I have Mordor, all ultra it doesn't look like that.
Does the PC version have the ability to scan your face like the console versions? http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/07/tech/gaming-gadgets/nba-2k15-face-scan/index.html?hpt=hp_c3
This game is incredible. 2K14 on PS4 was the best graphic game I'd seen up until now. 2K15 on PC slightly edges it out. The animations are better than anything else I've seen. I'm playing on a 60" plasma and even from my couch 7ft away people think it's just a real game of basketball on TV at first glance lol. Here's a video I took of Kobe making an impossible buzzer beater on me http://gfycat.com/SardonicScrawnyLadybug All highest settings except AA was on lowest. Runs surprisingly smooth on my 7970
I could post screenshots of 2k15 looking worse than this, if I really wanted to... what's your point? Those people need to get their eye seight checked. Honest.
my point is people are always hyping AAA games like the evil within ( love the gameplay, but graphics really sucks, 30fps and id5), but when it comes to sports games they always found some flaws
They are able to make sports games look good because they spend all the processing power rendering the players and that's it. Take a look at the people in the stands. They look like something out of a PS1 game.
Alex only pointed out that sports games need to catch up in graphics department, which is true, really.
idk, when I play a sports game I focus on the players. and I haven't seen any other game that has more realistic looking characters and animations than this game.
I was going to get this but now I won´t, definitely it´s missing something like subsurface scattering which makes the skin look more realistic on ps4 uke2: Ps.- Also looking at the first picture it seems like there is actual ambient oclussion there, look at the left arm. (always missing on pc version).
