Where you guys get the modded inf? Care to share the download link? I hate to do it by myself...

 

Still can't get mine to work even after modding the inf. Can someone please give my modded.inf a shot to see if it will work for them.

The error i am getting is

"The driver selected for this device does not support this version of Windows"

Now i have Windows 8.1 x64 Pro


I did download the x64bit driver as well.

Thats mainly for Desktop's only a few Mobile GPU's in that modded inf.

If they want to use Mobile GPUs series 400-800 then hopefully this one will work

none of these inf files could let me install it to my 680m

 

Ya 680M is not in my modded inf. If you can give me the DEV and SubVendor i could possible try and add it in.

I wonder if @Cyrsis might be able to help mod these drivers as even mine is not working at all even with the right info for my card.

So it might be best to wait till some one like @Crysis works his/her magic with a self signed Driver version for all.

Yes it would. Also in the drop down there will be a bit on SectionInf i will also need that.

these drivers seem to have given back the performance i was getting with 340.52. dsr seems a bit weird..as if youre running on a non native resolution (which makes sense) but every game ive tried is just a blur fest and i can't really tell a difference.

 

Can someone like help use GTX 400M-800M users please. Glad that its working for the Desktop folk but the Notebook users without the GTX900M series aren't getting anywhere. Please help.

 

Thank you for your attempt, while they did install, it left me with a black screen on boot. Had to rollback. I guess as you said some of us have to wait for a modded package

 

The modded inf didn't work for me either. I have GTX 660m and I checked the modified inf, there are 5 660Ms there, how could be mine is different, sigh...

 

The struggle. I do know the current inf from laptopvideo2go let me install, but it is not updated so (I assume) that is what is causing problems in my nvidia control panel. Settings do not save with it, and a few other issues. I had hoped an inf is here could help but alas it seems not.

 

just ran BF4 and can also confirm DSR is working on my 670s with these drivers.

 

@tehdewm and @LathspeLL thanks for trying. I have hit a brick wall i have same issue i followed the Sticky on the forum for Modding but it would seem that the main priority is with Desktop users.

So i will paitently wait for a Modded one that works for the NoteBook crowd.

I was up early after it hit the Guru forum and pinged my mobile trying to mod these but no luck so Sorry i am out.
