cba to re-install drivers. the card boosts to 1450 in bf4 and valley (only things I tried since I noticed this) so it's not a massive problem tbh.

Have you noticed any major performance differences in Grim Dawn? I find that using one 970 has stabilized performance for me, but I still get some jitters here and there

the game stutters a bit here and there, but no, performance is exactly the same as before. Just tried Dragon Age: Origins with some custom AA bits, the game boosted to 1450 no problem. It's fine, I won't bother, I'll re-install drivers when we get a new version.

Temperature over 70C? (Some Kepler BIOS downclocks at 70C, one of my 670's does)

Using adaptive power mode and running into a cpu bottleneck or using vSync? It won't boost fully if your gpu usage is not high enough.

Haven't seen more than 62C on this gpu. Ever.

It was a Vsync setting in Inspector, disabled Vsync in inspector and in D3, running 120hz, the game is SILK and now again holds 1450mhz on the core. Done

It doesn't go higher than 100%? My 780ti only go up to 106% but I modded the bios for 120%. 680s went up to 122 or so and I modded them to go 150%. Maybe thats a Maxwell thing. Haven't really looked into it further than just reviews.

Once we can mod the bios I'm sure the power can be adjusted.

I was able to use an updated GPU-Z to save a copy of my bios and then threw it into the kepler bios tweaker.

It shows adjustments that can be made fan profile, turbo speeds, power % etc. Only problem is that the cards will not accept a modded bios yet.

I failed to notice if there exist any 3-way benchmark results for the GTX970.
    Anyone seen some benchies?

I'm planning for a 3-way 4k gaming solution but still want to mitigate some cost here...
    (Compared with 3x980's).

Comparing 2-way & 3-way 980 results with 970 sli results the 3-way 970 should be somewhere in between the 2-way and 3-way 980's but that can only be confirmed/debunked with some real test results.

    Crucial components: X99 mobo (no brand selected yet), 5930k (40 lanes), 3xGigabyte 970 G1's, Corsair AX1200i.

    Feasible?

6gb or 8gb will do me.
though i admit i would consider a 4gb if it was ultra uber, like a 960 hawk that boosted 1500+ outta the box. i don't think i'd be able to resist.

Looks like my final OC results. I was trying so hard to bust 12k with a single card. Just couldn't get there.
