    Quick question:
I have HW/A disabled in FireFox and Flash.
Is it safe to turn these back on?

I was messing around in test range in BF4, running under Mantle, and was getting consistent and smooth 150-160 FPS on my R9 290.
    Again, I am happy.

Unlikely - those have BSODd machines for many many driver versions now - not even sure it's a driver issue any more it's been going on for so long

    Hello.

Just did a clean install of Windows 10 Technical Preview, and for my surprise it already came with catalyst pre installed.
Anyone know what version is this ?

14.8, as to updating, I'm not sure, I'm running Asder's OpenCL 2 drivers happily atm. 14.9 seems to have too many people complaining of problems so I haven't bothered updating.

My issue also happens when i use DVI > HDMI adapter/cable

This is my problem http://www.voetsjoeba.com/misc/edid/ with the same monitor but with a R9 290, it happens with every driver after 14.4, it's like they dropped support for my monitor or something (thanks AMD!), i can't be alone with this problem.

So who else has monitor sleep bug with this driver?

For me its even worse compared to 14.8 driver. Now my system just randomly hangs after windows turns off my monitors and even reset doesn't help. I actually need to force shut down with power button (4 sec rule) to bring my system back to life.
With 14.8 usually only one monitor came back online and I had to unplug and replug other monitors to get them working but at least it didn't hang like what this driver is doing.

Went back to 14.7RC3 and no problems whatsoever with monitor sleep states.

What are they smoking @ AMD

No crossfire in Dead Rising 3, no crossfire in Shadow or Mordor what the hell.. Both games lag even on one 2560x1600 panel. Lovely.

Correct me if im wrong but isn't that supposed to be the power saving feature that the r9 has? (Don't know if the others R models have them). That makes the gpu enter in a low power state to save power or whatever... At least there is some info on the box that came with mine. A green led gets lit whenever it enter that low power state, from what i understand, but then again correct me if im wrong. Mine always did that, bought it december last year and in every single driver it behaves like that, the led lits every time the screen goes to sleep, and when it wakes up i always hear the pnp sound, so i doubt it is driver related.
