I don't find the game all that impressive graphically speaking. Even the MC is not very detailed, poor skin and hair shading.

It's certainly not the type of quality one would expect from a 6GB VRAM title. :p

I don't see anything impressive with those screens at all.

I don't know why sweet FX people think tweaking gamma and colour make the game somehow better. Those are artistic choices, not graphical choices.

Quick everyone, go into NVCP and turn 'digital vibrance' up to 100, because 100 is a higher number and therefore better /s

Look at the textures of those stone ground, it's like there is no geometry there at all, just one flat painted on low res texture.

You dont need 6gb for smooth gameplay at 2560x1080

Is there any way to skip the intro stuff before the title screen? Also during loading screens when it says hit esc to skip it doesn't do anything and I have to listen to the whole audio clip.

A fist through the monitor is the best way to skip intros. 60% of the time it works everytime.

So is that just how it is for everyone or is there something wrong for me?

I don't know, I was just joking, unskippable intros make me want to punch mu monitor, I'm sure someone will find a fix. The "60% of the time" thing was a quote from a movie, nevermind me.

It's running on the newest build of the LithTech Engine.
Chances are the same ways of skipping intro videos on previous LithTech games (FEAR 1 and 2, Condemned.... NOLF series) will work with this.

Also, so far, the VRAM requirements for this game are complete and total BS. Which, most figured they would be.

So what about "esc to skip" in loading screens? Does that not work for anyone else either? Why say "esc to skip" if you can't actually do so?

Do we have any word on CPU scaling?

I keep wondering when I'll need to upgrade from my OC'd 2500k.

I don't think in the current generation of consoles lifetime. Even if the devs start to use all 8 threads on the console, the sheer power per thread of an later than SB will make up for only having 4 threads. I took this into consideration when buying my i5.

The graphics are distinctly unimpressive to be totally honest (and I'm being kind).
