I think he said that because his Titan has 6GB of Vram :)

It makes Titan (the first one) actually a good buy when you think of it. We ware laughing then but their card lasts, 6gb card will hold for a while more.

We, others are forced to upgrade just to have that extra Vram, and some little performance increase.

As far as i know, noone forces you to upgrade.Only the user know his own demands. So if you think your current system isn't providing you the playability that you want, you just upgrade to something better.

yeah, but he doesn't really need 6gb vram.

not really. He probably paid near enough a grand for that (.)an. I paid £279 for my 970. My 970 will outperform his (.)an in most games. Including this one.

Have GMG and other keystores started distributing the keys yet? I'm thinking of getting it from Brazil.

Anyone want to spot me 50 bucks? :p No? Didn't think so.

I'm really wanting this, as a big Monolith and LotR fan. But, I blew way too much money on my wife for our anniversary this weekend.
So, this game shall go onto my list of titles for the holiday sale.

I wouldn't call a purchase of any individual piece of hardware as expensive as that of the titan back then almost absurd. Then again I don't have the benefit of a 6 digit income. :nerd:

It looks pretty good on PS4. Though lots of low res textures everywhere and muddy ones too.

Also pretty impressed with the framerate. Its surprisingly smooth on PS4, and no slowdowns, even around dozens of orcs coming at ya.

Can't wait to try this on PC.

It's supposedly 1080p and 60 FPS on PS4, which is excellent provided it holds 60 FPS and doesn't constantly drop. The environments are supposed to be a bit on the empty and bland side though with lots of wasteland and ruins and very little distinction between the different areas according to a few reviews I've read. I've seen lots of pop up and LOD transitions in YouTube videos which suggest the draw distance is not as far as it could be. Probably helps keep the framerate up though.

I am buying this for my PS4, hoping to get it Wednesday/Thursday from GameSeek, but I may also pick it up on PC as well for the definitive version as I'm a huge fan of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and it is only £25 on Amazon. This game does look absolutely excellent, like Assassin's Creed done right, i.e. with Batman: Arkham combat rather than the lacklustre one of the AC games.
