EVGA GeForce GTX 970 ACX has misaligned GPU vs heatpipes

Strange that in their review of the MSI GTX970 Gaming, guru3d.com didn't mention it has a similar "misalignment issue" . I'm sure their recent falling out with EVGA has nothing to do with this attempt to damage EVGA's reputation.

 

Guru3D aren't trying to damage EVGA's reputation, they are just reporting the news, if you read the OP you will see the the news of the misalignment issue was reported on Reddit, other hardware sites posted the news aswell, I am sure you never accused them of trying to damage their reputation.

Can you provide evidence of the MSI GTX970 Gaming having misaligned heat pipes, I did a quick search on Google but I couldn't see anything, I am sure Hilbert would of said something if the one he had was misaligned.

Also Guru3d is not trying to destroy the reputation of EVGA. They are just reporting the news which they have a right to do it is called Freedom of the press.

 

Care to provide a source for that or are you just here to troll?

This is a Computer Technology website, reporting news pertaining to technology is perfectly normal behaviour and has nothing to do with attacking EVGA. Hilbert can even be seen recommending EVGA products on this very page. It's called objectivity, both the good and the bad gets reported.

 

I actually traced the ip of that post to the ceo of evga.

^MSI is really making some gorgeous cards as of late.

 

May have to go gpu shopping in a Lightning storm for a change.

 

I'm very tempted by MSI for my next card if I end up going Nvidia, which is starting to look likely.

Its good thing there have great customer support/warranty

guru3d may have reported on msi and their 670 cards that were a bit dodgy i dunno if you guys remember, the power editions i believe.
so it's not like evga are being singled out.

Damn that is a beautiful card, I'll be hitting up MSI for my next one.

 

It's a shame it doesn't come with a backplate.
