Ryse not being out yet sort of makes it a terrible example, we wont know how much memory it uses or how well it performs until it is released. Watchdogs is a terrible port, the game is broken for most people who play it. It's well documented, and I wouldn't assume that getting a 6gb card will magically fix all your problems. There's a good number of people running Titans who are having issues with it.

As for your comment about people on 1440p, most of the people posting in this thread (including eclap) are already running that resolution.

So you buy hardware based upon supposition? Wait until it's out, speculating on it is pointless.

Yeah exactly. I mean you can only guess that it will use more than 2GB Vram.

Which I would not be surprised if it did, but we know nothing about it yet.

the article says the game uses 2.5gb vram. poor effort from him.

Again, show me a game where 4gb vram isn't more than enough?

Ryse? Seriously? Now you're telling me you'll need more than 4gb for that? Based on what exactly?

Even you must realized by now how talking about single GPU's with 8GB Vram is pointless, atleast on chip we have now.

    One day...

They changed it recently from the 2 GB vram. first it was 4 gb, the reason why they did this is because most people are playing on 1080p anyway if u go higher then that u suffer the vram power of 3gb vram cards period.

    Your backtracking is delicious.

How would people on the steam forums know? The game isn't out, nobody will know until it is.

If you're looking to take advantage of your shiny 4K resolution monitor, meanwhile, here are the recommended specs for 4K:
•CPU: Quad Core or Eight Core CPU
    •CPU Details: SSE1-3, 8+ logical processors
    •Memory: 8 GB RAM
•GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 4 GB video RAM
    •OS: 64 bit Windows (Vista, 7, 8)
    •HDD: 26GB
    •Display: 4k Monitor (3840x2160 resolution)
    •Steam Account and Internet Connection

Until the game is released and people can test it for themselves, it's supposition. Regardless, that's talking about running at 4k, not 1440p. There's a little bit of a difference. I don't see any mention of the game requiring more than 4gb of memory though, so much for needing a 6gb card.
