Dell will be offering a new display tagged as U3415W on a curved 34-Inch display format.  The Dell U3415W will offer a nice 3440 x 1440 resolution and has a 21:9 aspect ratio. Though not 100% certia...

If this is reasonably priced, good and available in Finland, I'll buy one for my next build. Something like this would be nice to have. :)

I am currently using the new LG 34" 3440x1440 and fricken loving it. 21:9 is the new standard as far as I am concerned. A curve would be nice, but I don't think it needs it at 21:9...

Yes they had to find something to use their curved screen tech for, but this is nothing more than a gimmick imho!

    It'll cost a small fortune too :)

Wait until they manage 120 Hz beyond 2560x1440, for now everything above that is capped at 60.

This is not a gaming monitor, regardless of what that picture shows.

I held off on the 34" LG (Non curved) because users here (and elsewhere) confirmed that it had issues with input lag but this may be the one.

I'm well aware of that, gaming is not the only thing I would use them for.

The input lag on the LG was extremely noticeable (with V-sync on) from what I've heard and I'm sensitive to it.

I'll be getting a couple of these regardless tbh, they'll go on the productivity box if there is an abundance of input lag.

Yes! I hope these types of monitors really catch on. When they offer 120hz I'm all over it.

Any muppet can make a monitor, but the actual panel manufacturers are where you should be looking for improvements.

As it stands (and I stand to be corrected) the only techs which have 120+Hz are VA and TN - and I believe there is only one VA panel with the rest of them being the grossly inferior TN variety.

Sadly the one VA panel is 23.8" or something, way too small - but again, blame the panel manufacturers for not making bigger panels.

*Sigh, another monitor I drool over but when I see that "60hz" 4k res I just wanna puke sometimes, should I just get over my 780 TI g-sync compatibility and buy one? I really want one of these for gaming. Wait for 120 Hz 29"?
