Or maybe that new CCC that they were mentioning, strange that they look for driver feedback all of a sudden , they didn't seem like they ever cared too much. Maybe AMD finally decided to support their drivers like NV does.

I remove drivers with DDU always. I´ll try in SafeMode.

DDU tells you to boot into safemode when you run it anyway

    OOOOhhhhhh shots fired!

Both NV and AMD have driver issues, get over it.

Guess those GPUs that overheated because of WHQL drivers were just the ones NVIDIA put extra love and care into

One question, do these drivers pass signing, particularly in Windows 8.1 x64? Didn't see it mentioned yet, but would assume no since they had to be modified?

Edit: Nevermind; just read the first post again a bit more carefully :p

After two system hangs, I gave up on these...

Back to 14.8WHQLs, and I think I'll never mess with betas from AMD anymore....

These are not betas from amd, these are drivers dedicated for r9 285 which, in original form, support only r9 285 gpu and nothing more but asder00 modified this driver just for guru3d community to make them support all other usual amd gpus and chipsets.

Half of problems described here in thread by users is caused by the fact it is modified driver. For example installer wants to install amd chipset components on intel chipsets hardware - things like this clearly have their origin in mod.

Tried the new drivers, for testing I use The golf club (quite demanding game probably because it's developped badly) it uses the GPU alone 90% of the time, and doesn't use CPU, and i'am getting about 3° less temp, and 5-10 fps more. So good for me :)

DICE LA confirmed on CTE forums they're looking and investigating this issue, performance fix coming with next patch (expected to drop in the end weeks of September).

Ok So just a warning to people deleting the file. I did a memory patch that allows programs to use more memory on my bf3. I used it for about 6 months before I got banned. This is just a warning but you can do whatever you want. I'm just speaking of experience. If you get banned don't cry. This is like removing some files to make you only hear footsteps or make you not see trees etc etc. Anything to tamper with files is consider cheating in my opinion

They can ban me 4 times. I don't give a f... I'm sick and tired of this game problems and those greedy monkeys of developers. I ban them with my wallet to from now on. You take people money and deliver a broken product that have to be fixed by the customers after 10 months, now that is cheating in my opinion.

In the Dark Souls 2 temps are 10°/7° less against CCC 14.8 and before.

And the CCC Hots doest not work.

It is september now, enviromental temperatures are getting lower so hardware temperatures are decreasing too.

Chillout. You can't get banned for deleting/renaming the file same as you can't get banned for using SweetFX.
It's safe to use but there are some other issues that appear after deleting/renaming that file; sound effects are missing, lot of them (ie gun reloads, enemy footsteps, glass cracking...).

after two days of using this driver rolled back to 14.4.
one time i had some bugs during video file playback (MPC-HC H/W) and one time there was a strange bug during BF4.

Same here, had to disable ULPS otherwise the PC would freeze either when running 3D stuff or when shutting down/rebooting.
