In addition, Ryse will use Mantle API.. I think it was allready rumored, but well now it seems confirmed. http://www.dsogaming.com/news/ryse-son-of-rome-will-support-amds-mantle-api/
I forgot about mods, but it looks like mods in ryse could fix some gameplay problems . Graphic is good, levels are beautiful, so that game has potential . Personaly it remids me "gladiator" film scenes, and there's no many games, that does that.
played it on xbox one. Voice acting in the game was excellent, but it was terribly short and repetitive. That being said though, I did really enjoy playing it. The animations and fighting sequences are just so cool to watch. Would love to test it out on my PC as it looked flipping amazing on the xbox one.
This game will sell a lot better if they release it with mod support, so people can really dig in and make changes to make it actually fun.. Because button mashing stopped being fun a day after it was invented.... modders could do wonders with the mechanics, also turn it into a more RPG style game with different armors, weapons, etc....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNLeZ6CRnBU I cant belive how real character models looks in this video. These are ingame models, or this is rendered just for cinematic sequences? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMlw7et0Q-c Also ocean and water effects looks superb .
I freaking loved this game, only reason i've gotten a Xbox One. Sold it after i completed the game. This is imo the best looking game i've ever played, it looks way better then Crysis 3. I'm sure that is ingame rendered, but i don't know about the second video.
Undisputably, Ryse's cutscenes are supremely impressive. But this is all pre-rendered in this case. No doubt high-end PCs are capable of rendering this in real-time and I hope Crytek will avoid pre-rendered cutscenes on PC.
Well, I'm looking forward to this, probably not at release but I will sure get it at some point, as I totally love the setting (even though it's probably super unrealistic and over the top) and from what I've seen the combat looks pretty nice. Graphics are a bonus, I'm sure it will look great at 1440p maxed and by that time I will hopefully have upgraded my GPUs. Also, just found it's available on Steam for preorder, I could have sworn this will be an Origin exclusive... so glad it isn't.
that's how i do it, upgrade when games need it, probably cause that's what my pc is for i imagine. 980 /970 either or.
