Can someone that plays Diablo 3 tell me how their performance is with this driver? I swear it makes the game even more of a stutter fest.

Looks like it is the launch driver for the new R9 285. Maybe it is in the box with card?

    Here you go:

    ht t p: //support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/R9-285-Catalyst-Software.aspx

PD : When going to find it, this drivers is in a exclusive category for 285, for the rest of R9 2XX it still appears 14.4 and 17.3

I wonder if linux version, after patching, would work with kernel 3.17. I will try to patch it later xD

Downloading now windows version and will install it within seconds.

After quick test: i tried to install this driver but it appears to be supporting only tonga gpu, nothing more, nothing less, at least that's what i've found in its .inf files. I think after modification it might be working with other gpus as well. Could someone modify it to add support for other cards? I have been modifying drivers years ago but i have no idea how to make mod properly working with windows 8.1 :D

it also gives blue screen=youtube, have tried with a different bios, but it did not help

blue screen = bios error om MEM whit 1.46/14.7/14.8

I wish i would get this infamous youtube bsod xD I'm testing every driver and never get this.

Martin, try to update your adobe flash to latest beta, available here:
    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html
and check if you will get youtube bsod again.

Flash player bluescreen is an old ancient AMD bug, not just from these drivers

Disable Hardware Acceleration in flash player, job done

In my experience mantle can already bring significant benefit even with a cpu thats not 'low end' too, particularly when it comes to minimum framerate:

I've got an i5-2500 (not exactly high end these days, but still pretty decent and a lot faster than an amd apu), and I get a huge boost in minimum framerates in battlefield 4 when using mantle. In DX11 bf4 seems to hit draw call bottlenecks pretty quickly even with an intel cpu, and I get huge framerate drops just looking towards certain parts of the map, here's a quick video comparison I made, hanai resort 64p multiplayer:

DX11: Framerate plummets to 40-55 simply by looking towards the tower in the middle of the map, and gpu usage also drops significantly to ~60% https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aX-RttfiI2o

Mantle: Framerate stays smooth at 70-90 fps, gpu usage remains consistent 98-100% https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hw6aT2IMeI

This is with a single gpu (amd 280x)

Gonna try these tomorrow but it seems like it's gonna BSOD again, started since 14.7betas. Also seems like it's HW related because my browser is open 24/7. Unfortunately turning off flash HW accel is not an option for me. Here's how a 720p video on youtube looks like without HW accel in Flash:

Everything is pixelated and it also affects video quality, notice the text on the ATM display, also pixelated.
Here's how it looks with HW accel ON:

Is this how it's supposed to look without HWaccel?
