Hopefully a new driver series comes with the revised CCC. I'm guessing they're probably dropping NET Framework in favour of a Visual C++ implementation. It's pointless packaging NET Framework 4.5 with the driver, especially because it's been superseded with 4.5.2 for all supported OS's (including Windows 7).

Flatout 2 is still unfixed (DX9 3d-models corruption)

My guess would be use of NV instead of ARB.

Will test this one once I get home, because while I have over 200 DX9 games, none expressed corruption of any kind.

Have you checked cooling on your card? Maybe too high vram OC?

Edit: fasor is right, flatout 2 has some geometry stretched even on HD7970 OC or not. Tested it with flatout 1 CCC profile which does not have same issue, but FO2 still expresses it.
And it continues to be issue on 14.7RC3.

i'm an advanced user and dealing with computers for over 15 years.
so i'm absolutely sure - it's drivers fault (don't want to describe all actions i perfomed). And i also think that this problem connected somehow with HD7000 flickering problem (cause i think it was partly hardware and now AMD starts new driver model since 14.6 betas) there was no total fix - they just add some driver/profile fix for definite games.

Or you could press the "Check for Update" button in Catalyst...? Running HD7950`s in crossfire with this driver and things seem all good, even my old DX9 games that i play work fine :).

ok just tested these, and my temps went from 83C° which i feel is too much for this card, to a whooping 92C°, do i have a bad card? i dont think drivers can do this, the card is a MSI R9 290x Gaming OC, many reviews show the load top temp as 75 C°, how the hell watch dogs can take this card up to 92 C° with the fan at 95%?

95°c is max temp for these cards, Ive seen mine reach close to that too, nothing to worry about

oh well, so i am not alone? i just dont want to go through another RMA here in brazil, took a month to see that my R9 290 Tri-X had a issue, now ive forked more money for the R9 290x, and the temps are so freaking high, 83 C° with watch dogs with the 14.4 drivers, oh well i will just change drivers and wait for the fix, thanks guys, i thought my card was faulty lol

AMD should really put their **** together. No idea what they are doing with their drivers recently but the last stable driver for my 7870 is 13.12 whql. Any of the 14.xx drivers may cause BSOD (once/twice in a month, always while watching youtube vids), and artifacts in some dx9 games (mafia2 for example). And their cleanup utility is a joke. That crap uninstalls USB drivers, what the ****? So people with usb keyboard/mouse have to reset their pc if they are using this util. Seriously AMD, wtf?
