    I so need to make new pc build so i can actual get more the 6gb ram. X58 chipset is worse chipset i ever worked with as far Ram issue go. which why i stayed with the 6gb i have after trying 5+ ram set

    probably the MB/bois than the chipset i don't think x58 work with more than 8GB dimms im currenty running 24GB 4x6gb

    My spare rig has 6 x 4 GB, works fine, even at 2 GHz. SB-E won't do that.

    your one of lucky few then, X58 chipset is notorious for ram issue. specially missing ram.
