I have already used custom skins, guns and models. However, the textures are stock. From what I've seen, some good HD texture mods can really make the game shine and push the engine to it's max. I don't know which one to go for since I'm getting mixed views and comments with regards to the mod. Which texture mods would you gurus go for and where do you get them. Some I've come across: http://www.moddb.com/mods/hd-world-by-clipodel http://css.gamebanana.com/skins/128869 Is there anything better? Thanks so much guys...

Nah mate, sorry. Not really into mp these days. I miss it though, just find it too hard to invest int, or find a game has too much bloat. Cant go wrong with CS though.
Best stuff I used was found on Gamebanana. Lots of servers have sv_pure now a days though which makes it pointless.
True, always fun to go back and play from time to time. Remember back in the day, the early beta Counter-Strike that we used to play? At the times of Half-Life we used to play it 24/7. At school, at home and even at the gaming cafe. Used to be addicted once upon a time. Now it's every now and then... Exactly. I've been using Gamebanana since the late 90's at the times CS was still in beta. Used it mainly to get maps and weapon/glove skins. Great site with so much content. Nice new avatar by the way, cheesy but funny.
No, it doesn't. I have tried CS GO, and whilst the graphics are better I didn't like the new UI, menu or feel of the game. It felt heavy, sloppy and different than all previous CS games.
