What's the problem you're getting exactly?

After doing everything i said, the unblock should no longer be there if you go to properties again.

Well yes and no, it certainly helps to contact them by other means, especially through social media, shaming companies on Twitter is to my experience the fastest way to get help with an issue by far, will take the average down from a couple of days to a couple of hours for almost all companies.

What I meant more with the form answer is tech support works something like this (at least based on my experience doing tech support for Bohemia Interactive):

    1. Customer sends an email/fills in the form reporting the issue.
    2. The system logs their report and sends an automated reply with some copy and paste answers a. to the common problems and b. to try to illicit more details.
    3. Whoever is assigned the support ticket will read the ticket and give a "human" manual response, although if the first contact is particularly vague/lacking with information there's usually little choice but to paste a form answer (or even repeat what was already automatically sent out)

iangon's best action is to continue to go through the hoops, unfortunately it's the only way, and obviously don't swear and be abusive in the emails, I found when I covered the support desk if people were abusive those emails tend to get lost in the system ;)

    Hello everyone,

Here goes a little video of the latest version of the mod + trees fix + MaldoHD Textures + Vaas Dof + Sweetfx:

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtCQweXGEHw

The most noticeable problem are the trees + plants dancing like crazy with no apparent reason. There's also some headlight flickering, but it's good for most of the time.

As for sweetfx I used this one:
    http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/1686/

I love this preset (especially that is really dark at night), but I guess it needs some tweaking, because sometimes the brightness from light sources is too strong and strains your eyes.

Keep up the good work TheWorse, can't wait to see v0.9.
(Thanks for sharing your progress until now, sometimes people don't understand the meaning of WIP - Work in Progress)

This is a short video recorded with Fraps @ 1080p (with 25-35 fps, without 35-50 fps)

The quality is much much better, but you know.............youtube

Good solid help there! It helps not to swear, too.

You sound like a man who works in the business of software development as well. I know the ropes man, cause I've been delegated to "support" many times, or are they the same in other businesses?

Sorry dude, just saw your "(at least based on my experience doing tech support for Bohemia Interactive)" so strike that question. Users are such a pain in the ass though, right? :)

May be a problem someone stated before with not having XNA framework 4.0, try downloading that and the latest .net frameworks, 3.5 and 4.

I celebrated 10 years working for Bohemia Interactive in May this year :) I work externally for them now from home in Sweden (they of course are in the Czech Republic), primarily I do Community/PR/Communications but chip in to cover people absent for vacations and the like where needed hence helping on the support desk :)

Are you all sure the Ubi patch is integrated into 0.8v? My patch file without the texture pack is only 1.6MB?

Just wanted to say that the mod (specifically Maldo's textures I believe) have increased my performance dramatically-thanks so much

Vanilla game, my 2500k/780ti gets the following while driving:

    Ultra Min fps 33
    High Min fps 40

    With the mod

    High(or Maldo's textures) min fps 51

Game is now butter smooth even when driving around crashing into stuff on purpose - brilliant

Textures look just as good as ultra

    cheers!

This has turned Watch dogs into even more of a stuttering mess for me.

Oh sorry, didn't know your level of nerdiness... lol.
In your GamerProfile, find GeometryQuality and set it to "medium". Leave the other parameters as they are for now and try it. If it doesn't help, gimme a holler and I'll give you some more tips.

Once the issues with wind get fixed (Trees & Aiden's coat) this version will be perfect.
I'm definitely going to try the texture fix since some people are saying it can double your fps...
