    What is this mod?

AlphaZ, formerly known as Kadzait24, has created a Watch_Dogs E3 Mod that strives to bring the best gaming experience to players of Watch_Dogs.
Although still in its beta stages, the mod has already improved the graphics of the game by a substantial amount.
Including features such as an improved wind and fog system, the mod's goal is to provide gamers the original E3 2012 experience of Watch_Dogs.

    Download

As of this moment, the mod is in a private beta mode, where only a handful of people get to test the mod out and report bugs. We do not want to release a bug-ridden mod before testing it out first.
Download links will be added soon, when the mod's first full version is fully released.

2560x1440 pics are a bit much... Side scrolling is the bane of my existence.

Also.. Why do we need yet another Watch Dogs thread? We have to be at 10 now..

Screenshots without DoF, please. And no rain. This way looks like the mod has been created for screenshots.

Thank you for your suggestion; A version with less DoF and upgraded textures is already being made.

Well until we see the E3 missing stuff like POM, drips of water when raining, dense steam and smoke effects, flares on car headlights, bullet tracing, and other stuff... there isn´t such thing as an E3 mod out there*

We will try to implement all that is possible. We have already added car headlight flares, visible water droplets, and smoke/fog. v2.0 (which includes the features I just mentioned) screenshots will be displayed soon.

True. Guess they should call it "Close to E3 as we can get mod"

We will never be able to play that E3 version...ever.

We just have to take a stand so that Ubisoft quits stripping down their games for pc.

I´ll believe it when I see it, for now there is no genuine E3 mod in existence.

This is a short demonstration of the mod : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BpPgkMHDYA. Be sure to play in 720p for the best quality (Youtube compresses the quality).

So that's what, 11 Watch Dogs threads spread over 2 pages now? Yeah...I think I'm done here. Someone shake my bones when this place returns to some form of normality, shame it's been so openly allowed by the powers that be also.

    Adios my fellow Guru's.

Admit it doesn´t have any of the stuff I mentioned and that everybody can see on the E3 videos.

I've tried to ignore it but it is indeed seriously annoying. Hordes of 12 year olds fawning over what amounts to worse graphics, Saran Wrap over your monitor w/ a heavy dose of Vaseline smeared on it..

I've at times almost felt like I was trolling making fun of these "improvement mods" but take away the headlight shadows... They are the most god awful looking mods I've ever seen in my life (and I'm 37)..

Just because it's different.. Doesn't mean it's better..

I never stated that this video contained any of the features you mentioned earlier. Please remember that this mod is still in version 0.1 and does not include all of the features stated in the original post.

Just because you say it, doesn't mean it's true.

Its gonram annoying as its pushing other threads that i follow to the bottom or to other pages. I only have so much patience for the search function that its actually quicker to type 'game-title Guru3d' into Google.

TBH honest im not sure why people are so intent on trying to fix a game like this. The visuals are all ive heard about this game. No one comments in favor of gameplay.

Good on you though OP.

That's the laughable part.. None of the mods look anything like real life. Apparently on planet earth anything 30ft away from us is blurry and the color saturation we once knew as humans was reduced by half.

Sounds like my experience with Batman Arkham City. 6 months before it was playable stutter free.

apple890 - just wondering why you're the one posting this new thread. Are you the deranged ones new 'PR guru' or something? ;-)

You do seem nicer and more polite though. If I make a constructive comment will you throw a fit like the other guy though, I wonder....
