hello Kadzait, i cant send PMs but if you will have some free time, i hope you can respond, id really like to test your patch. and man for sure I can see from your videos that you are the one who did the real job! well done, im sure there will be justice and your name will stand first and not "the worse" you are the pro! amazing job!

This is yet another vanilla feature already ON.. This isn't a mod...

i think the only improvement rain need is the water falling from corners and more fog like in e3 2012 gameplay. vanilla rain is actually very good

 

things in the E3, BLOOM (a lot), FOG (a lot too), improved reflexions (like in GTA in the glasses), more NPCs, a better Cop A.I. (in the first level only arrests), better animations (in the actual version Aiden looks like a robot all the time, and More animations in the phone

 

Yeah but I didn't notice it in the vanilla version my bad, the splashes at the rod btw looks like the pavement has no wetness on it in vanilla and when it splashes it seems as though there is no effect, in the mod the pavement is wet or wet like with mor puddles and the splashes are like interacting with the water already there. Vanilla rain on pavement is not realistic looking in my opinion, although as you say there are splashes which I didn't notice while playing vanilla, so they really have no visual effect on my then so I had no lasting memory of it. If you have seen the raining evening or night time in Kadz mod you would understand the difference in believability of raining.

And there you have puddle improvements as well in the mod, there is an engine section for puddle, and all the rest you mention there goes hand with other improvements, that also affects other stuff too.

kadzait have you find anything about water drops from corners?

 

He is right about splashes in the cars, but not about everything else , those splashes are also totally different in the mod, as its using other rain emitter as well + with more improvements out and with the emitter.

Vanilla.. I've yet to see anything different in any screenshot or video except that dumb DOF.. Did someone forget to give me koolaid>?

I see that we need to uninstall the ubisoft patch before installing the 5.0 beta. Can someone give a quick how to on the best way of removing the ubi patch?

If you say its the same vanilla raining and water system, even reflection , specular, puddle, all you say there... then we have nothing more to talk about.

 

Scanning this thread I've seen ZERO comparative proof of any of these.

 

Scanning i saw people can do that comparisions. I saw i said that, maybe i need to repeat it like some bot.

And all there and more is true. Its all activated and changed like it says there. The time you will be able to get hands to the mod, you will have your answer.

Meanwhile, you have videos, where its not the perfect quality, its pretty obvious there is a big improvement a the visuals and rendering.

It's hard to see it through pictures ... When you actually play it you will see the different. I tried few different combos from tw and it took me a bit of game-play to see the difference and now playing with Kadz i can honestly see the difference straight away. You will too mate when you get it I am not the greatest at explaining things so forgive me.
