I want to speak for our community (NeoGAF) and what almost everyone of us thinks is that you are doing a really good job.

Nobody is expecting from you that you recreate the 2012 visuals, I think that's not possible. But we are really grateful for your effort trying to make this game look as good as possible.

@TheWorse: any serious impact on performance with these new effects?

    Yep, interested too !!!
Please TheWorse, except for your beautiful patch, what is your sweetfx preset ?

Do you use something else except your patch and sweetfx ?

I can't hit 60 locked. I am using 2560 textures too so 40 locked (which is pretty great with 1920) isn't quite there either.

I'm still on a 1920x1200 monitor but I recently got downsampling to work.

It's nicer, less noticeable when DOF is on, but otherwise quite. Also I kinda like this game when the framerate is lower lol! I may even test out 24 now that you mention it. It sounds crazy but it looks so freaking good it's almost like playing a movie, and that effect is exaggerated at lower framerates with these graphics!

For me (i7 965@3.6ghz, 12gb Ram, Sli GTX670), I loose almost the half of my fps!

Really beautiful, but 25-30 fps now. Before I have always 60fps...( 1920*1200, high textures, smaa, everything else maxed).

There is no much of a point if there isn't a similar comparision screenshot from the vanilla game.

Is it supposed to be ok that the sky is full white?

The sky is not full white, the weather is cloudy. And I need to tweak the bloom a little bit more too.

Disable SLI, the game will be a lot smoother, you'll see.
I can play with a single 670 at high textures and TXAA X4 with a solid framerate.

Looks absolutely amazing TheWorse. If now you also get the E3 rain it will be perfect for me.

That looks stunning! Hoping it's without using SweetFX as it doesn't work for me (Windows 8.1)

    @TheWorse

I'm impressed with the progress so far. Any chance of being able to fully disable the DoF and Motion blur or are those settings too ingrained in what changes you're making.

I'd be using this exclusively if I was able to not use those settings.

^ you can do that in-game, just make sure to change the quality = ultra again

then make it read-only (right-click xml, properties).

Did you add sharpen filter? Please don't, people can do that with sweetFX, I hate sharpening in games :S.

Set GamerProfile.xml to read only, boot the game, disable DOF/MB in settings, enjoy TheWorse's mod.

Simplest way to do it, just need to turn them off ingame each time you play, takes mere seconds.

(Posted numerous times by numerous people in this thread but people sadly seem to be incapable of using the thread search function!).

If there are any other awesome modders out there that can look into the Nvidia Surround/Amd Eyefinity scaling and HUD issues?? Please, I'll be your best friend :)

Keep up the great work Worse and everyone else helping :)
