TYhat explains it. I thought you were talking about 1440p ^^

I know it is a WIP, but my thoughts:
Make sure you significantly darken the blacks and mids at night. The ambient moon light is way too much right now to be realistic.

Also, the mids and blacks are more green than blue in the E3 trailer (rainy night).
Could you try and make some screenshots when its raining in the city. That way it is easier to compare the colours to the E3 demo. :)
I wish I knew how you are doing what you are doing, I'd love to try it myself ^^

So, what are the unpacked files I need to edit to slightly decrease the amount of bloom? Sometimes it's just a bit too strong :)

    Great version 0.7 BTW!

I've copy/pasted the files in the .rar to the directory you said and changed the "_runtime" to ultra and saved it. But the graphics don't seem to have changed. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? I just set the files to validate through Steam, and I plan to re-do everything.

Maybe someone can help here, when I unpack the patch.fat file to have a look at the windy_city xml, it seems like it's encoded or something and is unreadable. Is there something else I have to do with it?

I'll never understand that much need or amount of DOF in games.

I don't ever see what the appeal is except in digital photography, which i don't associate with games, not to say they are not art, but that's all that kinda DOF is good for imo, is photos, not gameplay.

you should also not forget that several meshes quality changes as well not only texture resolution according to Nvidia.

Shadows aren't black unless there is a complete void of light.
