Just to be sure I understand installing this correctly (and freely flog my newbness), which ever camera is preferred, use those files, then change the xml file for the presets?

Thanks you two ^ Having not played much of watchdogs before the patch I found it hard to see a big difference. Was wondering if I did it all right. I think it's night time + rain with the street lights that make it look really good.

Notice someone disabled some of the HuD in the gamer xml file. So did I and the mod/E3 unlock still works so I'm happy with that. What I'd like hear about is if someone can figure out how to disable news alerts I'm all ears. That way there can be a no HuD that's really no HuD. (along with getting rid of crime alerts of other characters and the alerts about a suspect/dangerous person (you).

It's just for exploration, I would put the HuD back when I got around to the story and gameplay.

I hope my offtopic will be forgiven.
I know my post is a bit naive, but i think Nvidia could actually do something about the general indifference developers have towards PC gaming. Especially since it's in their interest.
    I can't post url's, but look on nvidia forums - /default/topic/754101/pc-games/watch-dogs-pc-was-gimped-why-are-we-buying-expensive-video-cards-then-/

After you change the settings in the GamerProfile.xml and save it.... Right click again on the GamerProfile.xml, Click on Properties then you will see a box on the bottom of that menu saying Read-only. Make sure this is checked :)

What do you do that for? Why check it?

This is so the game will always load what ever settings you change in the GamerProfile.xml and when you change a setting in the game itself you won't mess up the settings you put in the GamerProfile.xml :)

i found a very interesting Watch dogs demo video from Sony PS4 reveal conference , the interesting part is that the gameplay happen during day time .. with the old E3 2012 build/effects or whatever you wanna call that

    youtube.com/watch?v=gaTKHHJwVZc

    what i noticed :

    - fog everywhere, crapload of fog

    - the fog/heat going out from the sewer is more exaggerated than the vanilla build, it also look more dense

    - the city feel more alive with more peoples/cars around

    - the wind seem to carry more stuff
