    No, I'm using my own XML and all the fancy effects by TheWorse still works.

    It's not a great job. This mod is all over the place.. Yes he's changing things and it looks different than Vanilla but if this were released by Ubisoft it would be considered pre-alpha at best..

    P.S. Not kicking TheWorse down but seriously, let's be realistic here..

    Thats my point it isnt :D .. for example he has :

    <ParaboloidReflection>
    <quality id="ultra"
    ParaboloidReflectionTextureSize="2048"

    and i have for example

    ParaboloidReflectionTextureSize="4096" or you choose 1024 for better performance.

    But you must change it in documents (not in patch.dat) and put READONLY it will prefer file in documents just the settings you put in there other settings will be from patch.dat .. simple as that ... this must be on front page .. because every new person must know that :D

    I noticed you get an fps decrease when it is raining. Same here. Up to 13fps reduction when raining with the current mod files. Hopefully latest version of the mod addresses this. :)

    I saw the pathetic argument between the other XML maker dude and TheWorse. Seriously, instead of bickering, why not join forces and make an amazing E3 2012 recreation or something. Reading those posts gave me aneurysm.

    There is no E3 2012 recreation possible. I mean if I study more about the lighting system I could do something impressive with it but still I'm just a novice.

    And this is not impressive because I did it, I don't show my self as a modder but as an unlocker and optimizer. I'm a very obsessed person and this is the result.

    I just try to do my best for me and the community.

    Edit: Civilian density default values will be increased for the next build.
    Three cameras will be included (Closer, Normal and further)
    Bloom will be tuned to be better but not overwhelming.

    By E3 2012 recreation, I just mean bringing the retail's visuals on par/very close to what Ubi shown us. I don't seriously expect the exact same thing we saw. And for a novice, you're doing a pretty good job. You don't have to call yourself an "unlocker and optimizer", that's a silly label. A modder sounds good enough, it's not a prestigious title.

    From the game? Pretty self-explanatory.

    That's my point Mate :) TheWorse is one guy and is doing his best. Ubisoft is a major company that knows the ends and outs of this game and still nothing from them!

    I feel like the lighting will be the key thing to look at in order to get as close as possible to this "E3" look. The three camera idea is a good addition.

    It's too bad we couldn't create an advanced menu for in-game instead of playing with files.

    I mean why does this have to be added? Shouldn't it be in the game already?

    Kills me that this is their biggest release and they're not giving any updates for the status of their PC Patch. Same thing happened with AC and Splinter Cell. Splinter Cell was the worse for me since I couldn't connect to the multiplayer but when I upgraded to Win8.1 it just magically worked. :bang:

    It was modified by TheWorse if I'm correct and it made, at least to me, my fps decrease dramatically during a rainy weather. So the guy just replaced it with the game's default rain configuration.

    Due to one of the modifications which increased the number of splashes, higher quality splashes and quantity performance dropped by a lot. This has been fixed already for the next release. headlights shadows are now fixed at least with the test I made.

    I need my time to update the first page with screenshots, information etc.

    And I'll change the lighting after this, it should REALLY make a difference then.

    Still for testing: SSAO Intensity curve, lighting curve and many more values to be changed. I'm exited to make clear night better.
