Well that's weird, it's because of the same file, I lowered the values so this should not happen again. I'll upload the new version tomorrow.

What is exactly the problem on wich value ? Because i use all your patch.dat effects like headlight shadows/bloom .. but i use my own terrain vegetation etc. confing and i dont have these flickerings. Not even once.

Your new test file has the head light shadows but its not worth using it. There is a ton of flickering during the day when there is smoke from pipes, cars, the ground, everywhere. Its also really bad when you're driving a boat, the white water around the boat flashes a lot. I've tried different Vsync settings and nothing worked to fix it

People just turn off CSM shadows and test it again. I thing this is the main problem.

It's the main Watchdogs file which controls a lot of things, and I've increased the value to high before so that happens. No more.

Flickering will be fixed in the next version comming tomorrow, and it has nothing to do with the headlight shadows.

A little update: Many graphics textures such as projected clouds, wind noise etc have been changed to a higher quality. I'm able to change the cubemap of the windows reflections so if anyone knows about .dds cubemaps and want to make one for the game it will be great, or at least better than default.

Your Test named Mod isn't working for me.
It just draws 15fps but no visual effect at all.

The Version with E3 Bloom and Shadows is working flawlessly.

    I've tested multiple times
    But the Direct X error
I do not think it will work on Windows 8.1
It works on Windows 8.1 with Direct X 11.1

    SweetFX Working with Windows 8.1

SweetFX can be achieved on Windows 8.1 using RadeonPro

Search youtube for "Installing SweetFX for Watch Dogs" Click the first link and follow the guys instructions. The creator of the video is JeZ tK | Editor

Yes this works for NVIDIA even though RadeonPro is an AMD program.

Can you post a screenshot of your exact problem spider?

and Carpetad I'll post two downloads tomorrow, one E3 Bloom and another with a different Bloom preset.

    E3 Bloom + Headlights

Hi The Worse! Excellent work on everything you have created. Which file was for the E3 Bloom and headlights shadows?

I assume your newest update but was that CustomSettings_byTheWorse.rar?

Thank you and the files are packed inside patch.dat

My newest update was Test fix in the first page.

Right now i'm trying to change the lighting a bit more to be a little more realistic or better.
