"And the headlights emits two shadows one from each light, same in a bike."

Maybe that's why they opt out, ran out of time and too lazy to tweak some more and combine into one,.. probably the same thing with parallax mapping, like maldo said some conflicts/missing bump? maps

btw very nice work so far

    This looks amazing really TheWorse.

Is it normal at this stage that i don't have my shadow when i'm standing in front of a car ?

I've put the 2 files in the data_win64 folder
and your xml in my games, ... but no shadow when im in front of a car at dawn?

Im not using sweetFX as i can't do that yet, would that be the cause ?

Brilliant TheWorse, the bloom effect is at bit too much though, in between vanilla a now would be perfect!
Youhou headlight shadows ! Good especially if it does not chew up your FPS :) !

Hope you won't change the, shadows or reflection resolutions, it wouold be good if we can have all these nice effects without loosing any FPS.

    F'in amazing !! Some Devs a real *******s lol !

Thank you guys, all of you.

About the shadows, many of the shadows seem buggy, maybe because the spotlight cap is reached then strange things happen lol. I was also able to apply volume to the lights just like the police vehicle

Unfortunately it is buggy, but I hope I can find a solution, it is expensive though but immersive :p

This starts doing strange things due to spotlight and spotlight volume cap.

Yes i only quote this one as there is a lot asking the same thing, i sent TheWorse a message and i have no problems in working together, since he also asked me this at my thread if i wanted to work with him, it would be good since it takes too much time for only 1 person.

Im still waiting for TheWorse reply, as i said, would be good for timing and sharing knowdelge.

    Awesome! Simple but great.

The good thing is that I believe it can merge with other mods.

As I said to kadzait, I'll be alone doing this because it's how I started, but we could make a "fusion" mod after I get everything working and ready to play :)

Right now I'm focusing on the headlight shadows and I'm obessed with using lightvolumes if I can get it to work.

Thats fine i will just add your "lighting" to my mod as thats what people wants. You asked me first than anyone to work with me , so i dont think that would be an issue.

I just dont have the time to decompile shaders and also do my modifications, i have a family, daugther and a job as well.

I thought you would accept, as mainly you were the first one asking me to work with me.

The entire "mod" from TheWorse are all my modfications and findings from this whole time and effort. The only he added was the lighting ( bloom ) changed. All the rest is the same as my patch.dat/fat and findings.

And my mod also improves performance, if you check the thread with 99% people saying they have got better performance ( a lot ) no stuttering and more gpu utilization.

So if we are going to be fair, i will add TheWorse lighting to my mod including his name and he should do the same thing with my findings / improvements as he is using it at his "mod".

    Cheers.

    @ spider
try to switch from 16/9 to 16/10 if you haven't already, i'm also playing on 1200p and no 1920/1200 in the game option even if i put it in the xml.

    weird

You said you were using a 16:10 monitor, maybe you have it configured to 16:9 in the wd settings, change your resolution again and see

Edit: I would like to also detail to kadzait that your modifications are not something I couldn't do by myself. I'm not being rude but I do my own xml settings as other people can.
