I didn't know Hilbert was AMD's spokes person? If AMD release the 14.6 driver with fixes for W_D and hopefully they will improve the performance in Wolf too, you can't honestly be mad? W_D launches tomorrow, driver comes tomorrow, what else do you want? Apart from W_D and Wolf, I don't really need any other fixes, all the other games run great. I think the reason AMD skipped 14.5 was because there was really no issues with any games, not the ones I've played, anyway.

Hilbert said that both would be releasing optimized drivers today, that's why some people are a little upset. As NVIDIA DID release today, and AMD hasn't.

 

I never said he was. AMD is always pulling this crap.

NVIDIA's optimized drivers are already out. AMD's are not. Many people already have the game on PC. And going by AMD's broken track record of release dates, I wouldn't be surprised if they delay it past tomorrow.

 

If AMD said the driver will be out today and they fail to deliver, ok, fair play, you are entitled to be disappointed. Yes, they have delayed some drivers recently, but if this one comes tomorrow, you can't really say that's not good enough.

He said this yesterday, on the 25th at 10:53PM PST. I don't know where Hilbert is located, but I saw the comment yesterday.

Not that it matters anyway, since doesn't work for AMD or speak for them. But I'm assuming he got this information from an internal source.

NVIDIA released their optimized driver today, just as he said they would. AMD is still lagging it, as always.

 

Which part of TOMORROW are you missing?

NVIDIA released their driver TODAY, the 26th, just like he said they would. AMD didn't, wtf is so hard to understand about that? Jesus Christ.....

Anyway, it doesn't matter. It comes when it comes, end of story.

I commented about this shortly after I read the quote, and that was last night. But if he's in another time-zone, then that probably explains it.

Anyway, like I said, it doesn't matter. It's not a big deal.

 

Maybe there is some timezone confusion going on? Tomorrow to one person could mean something totally different to another...

I heard that the drivers were coming Tuesday. I imagine this means at some point Tuesday, PDT, or whatever timezone AMD mainly uses.

 

Nice of Nvidia to release their drivers early for the pirates, shame on you AMD.

Lol at the epic fails of people who don't understand that MANY people on here do not live in the same time zones!!

 

Even dates alone don't tell the whole story. I believe it's 5:17 AM May 27th over in Japan currently; meanwhile it's 4:17PM in the US (east coast), the 26th.

Dates and time zones should suffice; and most announcements I've seen do just that. I don't believe I saw any official AMD announcement, but I imagine they would of done it as well.

 

Crazy big deal , drivers are late for one day , everyone flips out like it never happened before , especially with AMD. Hopefully they did some improvements with mantle for older cards in BF4 , been a while since they promised.

I heard Tuesday from someone, and there's about 8 hours in my timezone (EST) until then (I imagine AMD is using PDT though; so about 11 hours). Then from there, a 24-hour window of time.
