Join us in this preliminary benchmark performance review for Watch Dogs on the PC, where we look at this game from a graphic card point of view, with a handful of graphics cards. We look at DX11 perfo...

7870 1155/1387 is pushing this game very well

Texture on High everything else on ultra 1080p 40~60fps

Btw i just download early for tests purpose, already buy 2 key for this game.

    Thanks,

btw did you check what's up with pagefile? few confirmed it ran alot better with it off, otherwise it cached to much in pagefile instead of system ram.

So delete my post and not his after pointing out an error? Nice.

    ...

I am also getting a boat load of stuttering if I have the settings to high. Getting 1700mb+ of used VRAM.

Most any game I have ever played has used.

It is called thread cleaning, the COD error was reported and fixed. You however noticed it as the cache had not yet updated it.

    Fair enough,

But a PM would be nice. I have no problem at all with posts being deleted but a PM to the user in question with a reason would be polite vs nothing and the user left wondering what had happened or what they done.

I have not run into that one at all .. then again the test setup has 16GB RAM so I doubt it would write IO to swap anyway.

But hey, could be very plausible .. as mentioned in the article, I think there will be quite a few patches with this game in the near future.

Revert to FXAA and set texture quality to high.

Be interesting to see the updated AMD results, once their Watchdogs optimized driver is used. :p

Were the GTX 770 and 680 results switched around by accident?

On page 5 it says that you are using a driver: 338.88 - not sure if this is an error or not, but is this an upcoming driver we can be expecting?

That's what I am waiting for. I got my key last night so I played a little at 3am and some more today and fiddling around with settings trying to find a nice balance. It is using a whopping 2800MB of VRAM with Textures on Ultra! I had to settle on FXAA to get anything above 30FPS

yeah at 2560x1440 780 ti 39 fps and amd got 290x got 40. at uhd 22 fps for ti and 38 for amd. Those amd cards are somehow really under utilized in this title. 290x should by going the res increase push easily 60fps over at 1080p :D
