So what is taking all that vram and everything?
Screens I have seen textures are not anything THAT good, look at that last pic posted about that box, check the floor...

edit: oh I just saw how detailed that ammo/something box is there. Probably 8000x8000 res textures on that thing so then game uses lots of ram and is nextgen game.

I dont know people were expecting. Its id tech v, what more did you think youd get. Ohh i know... maybe a decent story and engaging gameplay this time.

Well according to nearly everyone, that last part came true.

I'm getting absolutely terrible framerates and graphics glitches. Must be a driver or game problem, I run everything else maxed out 40fps at the lowest, I'm at 20fps here. On the latest Nvidia BETA drivers.

    That's dog-food, a tribute/nod to Wolfenstein 3D.

If you having memory issues, you can always dial back vt cache size or enable vt compress or both. Also, if anyone figures out a way to enable max refresh rate, please post.

    Thanks.

    Edit:

So just to update my earlier post about me having stuttering issues and bad performance. It was because I was running out of vram. I have since put in my 770 Classified and now the game is running smooth.

I can understand people being annoyed, spending the money they have on the hardware and then the time and bandwidth on what I think is the largest download so far for a game.

None of it should be a surprise when you know the engine though, Mega Textures are a great idea artistically, but a game needs to be at least 100gb and that just isn't realistic for a lot of people.

Hoping the game itself doesn't get buried behind too many technical complaints as I'm sure it's a fun game, albeit one with limited value compared to others these days.

Ok so I've just encountered the first group of enemies, but when killing them there was NO blood at all, 0. What is this, I don't have the german version or anything, it's bought directly off steam, so...WHEEEERE'S MA GORE???!

Said it a few times already but don't be put off by knee-jerk reactions to this from some and performance issues. The game itself is really really good from what i have played. It is Wolfenstein, it looks and plays like Wolfenstein, it has stayed true to it's origins unlike many other recent releases that have not lived up to the old games, this does! You know you are playing Wolfenstein. Hang on in there, the game is excellent.

Nah, wasn't robots, I think it had to do with a video settings glitch/running out of vram or something, lowered some settings and disabled vsync and behold... goooore and dismemberment galore! :flip2:

Should be the same commamd as rage or if they're stand alone files, just delete or remove.

You can delete "bik" file in base\bink folder. It's called something "pc_xbox_one.bik"...can't recall for sure cause I already delete it :)
