Theif has no crossfire profile yet.

BF4 shouldnt be an issue though...

 

woops i apologize bf4 indeed does work with mantel and crossfire the issue with that game for me is mantle seems to be slower than direct x 11 for me in bf4...

also there is a bug in bf4 right at the start when your going through the house before you meet your guys you pass through a room and there is a tree in the middle withe a hole in the roof and sun shining threw the roof and my frames take a dive lol if i look away from the tree they bounce back up i look at the tree again they dive again lol

though that could just be a sunorgodray bug...

 

Any idea if the 'iGPU must be disabled to run BF4 Mantle' issue has been resolved yet? Sorry if this has long gone. I haven't been keeping up to date with the Mantle drivers.

 

That is the damn tree of death, happens to everyone haha.

 

dont get me wrong its a real skinny tree lol
though i only drop from 60fps to 50fps but its still a dive

its good for one thing though, forget stress programs just stair at that tree

Mantle works fine, its just had a sh!t start, BF4, broken still from what i can gather, and Thief by all accounts, a rubbish game, plus its only a patch at present.

We really need games done from the ground up on it, not have it patched in months later, when we've already finished the games fine under Dx11.

unfortunately, a great majority of upcoming AAA titles are based on Frostbite3, so they will all be patched in.

 

Well i don't have it so i couldn't say myself, its just from reading the Thief threads on forums where everyone is slating it that gives me the impression that it may not be very good then.

Thats a shame.

 

i dont think so, EA/Dice has learned a lot with BF4.

I believe the next frostbite game will be tons better than BF4 was at mantle launch.

 

Any ETA for new drivers?

By the time we get new drivers and/or mantle to work as it should with almost 0 issues Maxwell will be here and DX12 will also be here and I should be running Nvidia again.

I have sticky clocks problems with this version of the driver, basically when I run games the card stays at video decoding clock speeds 500 core 1250 memory instead of switching to my overdrive speeds 1120 core 1350 memory. I noticed that it never happens for the first game I run after booting windows, if I close the game and open it again the card gets stuck, if I alt tab out of the game and I disable overdrive and enable it again the card goes back to normal OC clocks when I return to the game. If someone knows how to fix it please reply, having to alt tab every time is a bit annoying.

 

Once again my Catalyst Control Panel doesn't work. Happens every other driver release. Usually I can fix by reinstalling uninstalling several thousand times. Whatever though I'm done with it. So annoying. If I fool around too much my HDMI audio will stop working too.

 

3 weeks with this driver. no drama just yet.
