Somehow I get the impression you don't even know what a hillbilly is...

I think that's why he wrote "with the tweak", likely referring to the 60fps hack out there. But you're right, the game is locked to 30fps.

On a side note, as has been noted, this is a hotfix driver, so is there any reason to use this instead of 337.50 if the issues that are being "hotfixed" don't apply to me? I ask because some of you are saying you're getting better performance but others are saying otherwise.

in the derogatory sense, as it was used here, it can be equated with redneck... a crude, simple person with inflated sense of value... i used it since i liked the pun, Hillbily Hilbert.

oh and i also LOVE how Hillbily was involved in the thread like crazy at the beginning and then when the original OP demanded the thread back he just went silent on ignoring, like he suddenly is not aware of the thread existence... rigggggght.

i guess, but i think the fps was hard locked to the engine... i seen people get rid of the limiter and completely brake the game, everything just fly then... unplayable... but there might be some new development, if so i would appreciate the link.

Wow, I don't even know where to start with this thread. Just for the record, most of the staff wouldn't want their names or other personal information posted as inevitably there's always some jackass who feels the need to badmouth you. I've even had death threats over some trivial difference of opinion, who the hell wants that on a daily basis? Also I have no idea why Hilbert should pretend to be someone else when he makes a post?

I would delete this thread and start it over if we hadn't already been there and done that already (albeit by mistake), so the posts from here on in better stay strictly on topic or people will be getting banned.

These drivers don't appear to have made it to Nvidia.com or GeForce.com. I'm guessing its because they're buggy so Nvidia will probably release a new driver in a more official capacity soon. Maybe even a WHQL for Wolfenstein's release. Will give these Betas a miss.

Me too. I hope the Wolfenstein driver will be worth the wait.

    HeavyHemi & Ethne, thx answering

are you also (sometime) experiencing that black screen at the boot of windows ?

Tried to be patient because of the cost/lifespan af an SSD but finally have to reset the PC... happened before under Win7 and it took some time to be resolved at that time. Are we going thru the same ' all over again ?

I clearly enjoy win 8.1 just willing to know if, related to this thread, it is nvidia's fault to cause this black screen at boot.

Not sure at all, knowing it all goes about context

    ... good thing there clearly

ok well i suppose that when i RESET the machine there's nothing fishy/damaging going on for the SSD's since it doesn't react anyway?

    Humbly asking

I wouldn't think it would damage your SSD mate :)
