Agreed.
The series has only gotten worse with each installment. And, even with this trend... it continues to sell like mad. So, there's not real reason for Activision to attempt to reinvent the series.

Yeah, they are making big comments about this new one. But, they did the same thing about Ghosts before it's release as well.

 

They look similar to the suits in Stalker and that Matt Damon movie.

 

Why not back to WW2?

Super-bunnyhop soldiers. Awesome. I hope they'll provide more balconies and garages to hop on. Maps in CoD arent really known for alternative ways around the target area.

 

I've been on the CoD hate wagon for a long long time now, but after watching that trailer i'm intrigued.

I'm keeping my eyes on this.

Almost had me interested but instead were getting black ops 2.1

 

I wish Ubisoft had the guts to stand up and sue them for resambling GRAW too closely.

Might as well call it Advanced Warjumpers - ShooterFall. Wallrunning ability will be 1st DLC, no doubt

 

CoD meets Crysis-Fall, yeah (not). Skip again, wont touch.

 

Activision brought the rights to the trademark Advanced Warfighter at least four years ago now. They also trademarked a couple of other titles as well, such as Future Warfare, Space Ops, etc.

I think Ubisoft either got paid already for the trademark by Activision, or because they haven't used the name is so long they lost the ownership rights.

Looks waaaaaay better than Ghosts ever did. Even the trailers to Ghosts looked bad. This on the other hand looks decent. The campaigns of COD are generally fun to play but for me its just the length. They need to break that 10 hour time. At least 12 hours playthrough on NORMAL difficulty!

 

The only thing different vs Ghosts is it has more DOF, Im playing Ghosts atm.
Idk if that automatically makes it 10x better

 

It looks like CoD. Overly scripted and cutscene heavy.
Which, I don't mind a story heavy game... but with CoD there's an over reliance on scripted scenes and cutscenes. It pads out the playtime, but when the playtime is only about 5 or so hours... it's sad that it needs to be padded out.

So... this is definitely a pass.
