I'll likely stick with my Lumia 920.

Really tempted by that HTC One M8. Hands down the best phone of this generation specification wise afaik. That and the prior One was utterly amazing.

I went with an N5. Stock Android is hard to beat if you're not into custom roms.

I'm sticking with my several month old Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Sexy beast it is. :)

Using the stock rom, however, bootloader has been unlocked. Also running a custom kernal and I'm rooted, obviously. :)

All bloatware has been removed, around 40 junk apps I believe...

Just got my Moto G 16G Dual SIM. Very happy with it and since 50% was covered from work it cost me just 126 euro.

I always enjoy the Nexus phones and I was really tempted with the 5 considering the cost but something about this years HTC One M8 makes me want it.

Off to some phone shops at lunch to possibly pick one up, Sim free I can get it for £450..

Waiting for something with an 805 in it. Currently have a Nexus 5.

I'd also like whatever I get next to have better microphones. I find myself using voice to do a lot more stuff lately (mostly in the car, like sending texts and whatnot) and honestly the mic's on the Nexus 5 are garbage. I find my friend's Note 3 is far more accurate and I don't have to speak nearly as loud or slow. But I guess that's why the Nexus is $400 and the Note is like $700 or whatever.

Maybe it is time to switch ..Nokia phones always liked me and me liked them.
Now,windows 8.1 looks better and better.
Still,i have a hard time to justify buying a new phone,my current HTC Ones S still does everything i want.

    Might get this one.

The Sony Xperia™ Z2 will keep going all day thanks to its 3,200mAh battery that'll give you around 20 hours of talk time and over 800 hours of standby. It's also extremely fast with a 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. There's a stunning 5.2" Full HD 1080p screen that has a pixel density of 424 pixels per inch. You'll also get a great 20.7MP camera and 16GB internal storage, which is expandable by up to 64GB with a microSD card (sold separately).

That HTC One M8 looks sexy. I'm up for an upgrade right now and my iPhone 4S has about worn it's welcome out. If I got a phone now it would be the M8 but I may wait to see what the iPhone 6 has to offer.

My friend has the M8, aside from the camera being terrible it's a good phone. I wish they just used capacitive buttons and kept the screen smaller too though. It's too long.

Got a mint Galaxy S3 yesterday to replace my bricked Galaxy S. Came with original receipt showing it was purchased new last year for $800.

    Pretty good deal I thought....:D

Btw does anyone know how to transfer contacts from the old style sim cards onto the new smaller type?

You could always just trim the sim card down and install it in the new phone long enough to pull the contacts off it.

SIM cards store the same amounts of contacts, tiny amount, I really doubt any phone made in the last 6 years actually stores to the SIM, there's no actual difference in the large to micro SIMs, just size.

If your contacts are actually there on the phone and it's bricked they're likely gone if you hadn't set up a backup to google.

But there's tools to do what loophole says that could get it more accurately, just as long as the metal is all still there you can insert it loose into the phone, will take quite a few tries to get it right though.
