The R337.61 is a Side-Branch driver, to solve problems with Dell Displays.

 

I've gone back to the WHQL driver. Both these new Betas have been garbage and caused frame hitching.

 

Got a nice increase in 3dmark, with these drivers Pretty big...

No real difference between 337.50 and these ones for me. In fact, no real difference in any driver before the 337 series.

 

These drivers for me required(and I think these for a maybe small percentage require this kind of cleaning) above average driver uninstall(and cleaning used driver fusion aka the new driversweeper) and avoiding the reinstall of older drivers from windows update(which seem to be highly incompatible in my sys with the new drivers) upon reboot. I found a way to do it in a few hours with no help but they say this DDU Display Driver Uninstaller does the the same thing. So my solution allowed me to figure it out on my own in a few hours and didnt require reading all of guru3d as a forum lifer...... (or coding an application to do it for me for hours ::)))
Once you get them installed all I can say is low latency bliss. It even speeds up all of windows, tabs pop more instantaneously, anytime you get instapop you get stress relief and seeing as I am a tweak connoisseur(I can detect fine tweaks most others will like to throw in your face that there is no difference because they are james randyite turkeys that think using your ears to detect differences in sound equipment is a joke and audiophile is a joke loser because they are digital infallibility computer weeinies that can only trust a meter and what they hear is interpretted by their flawed minds(yet we should trust what they think) and therefore indeterminate of anything(then why even listen to music or maybe its cheapass buyers inferiority/remorse(not really remorse since they cant afford it) complex). I have been on cloud nine for over a week now. Its odd to have a driver upgrade directx and result as a cpu upgrade because os tweaks feel like cpu upgrades. Its nice of nvidia to help out microsoft intel and amd they need some help.....LOL.

Yes, exactly, all drivers are the same. Don't buy silver wire duh monoprice. I read internetz. A driver is only good if fraps or msi afterburner or futuremark say so because meters are god dont trust your eyes or anything and fps is all that matters.(yes these drivers provide fps boosts and major ones in a few titles but that is not their main feature and no meter you are using is going to tell you that).....(its like a cpu boost)

True that, but the occasional stealth fix in drivers is not unheard of though. Or a change may not have been listed, also not unheard of.

 

I don't see anything in the changes regarding a fix for it. So i wont go thru the trouble again.

Id like to see it fixed when this goes WHQL, if not my next upgrade will be AMD.

5 months is long enough to fix it i think?

I use Windows 7 64-Bit, but they also had a fix for that.

Will give it a go once this Norton Ghost 15 Image is done creating

I've seen the white flashing in the indoor areas on Battlefield 4 especially when playing Carrier Assault and actually inside the aircraft carrier. Also could see flickering and right through some of the solid walls of the carrier. I reported this on the 337.50 thread.

Image quality and colours nowhere near as good as the 335 WHQL set.

 

Installed these and they are just as good as the previous 337.50 on my rig.
