No one knows for sure but Nvidia. Rumors suggest July at the earliest.

THere is another way to reduce stuttering on a 144hz monitor?

Yes, if you ignore fact, that 144Hz displays reduce V-Sync based stuttering compared to 60Hz by 58% and most of remaining stutter is caused by crappy game engines.
You have Frame rate limiting which in reality have better positive impact on games which suffer from heavy stutter on 144Hz than GSync/FreeSync will ever do.
And you can use Dynamic V-Sync which is kind of in middle of the road.

G/FreeSync is really good idea, but for large 60Hz screens where you need to squeeze absolutely everything out of timing. But even that will not save you from bad programming.

hmmm well I (and everyone I show) can see a big difference with G-Sync on/off running at 144hz. It's a myth that it only really benefits lower framerates.

    QFT.

Everyone that I have shown this to is amazed by it.

Mine is modded. There is no bug with this. It performs better than I thought it was going to. Even when frames dip below 60 fps, it still feels like 144Hz.

    I can't wait for G-Sync monitors!! I can't wait to get rid of this 60hz 1080p monitor.
Though I'm not too fond of TN panels. I really do hope they announce some IPS or VA panel G-Sync Monitors.

As for myths. Compare GSync vs 60Hz and then GSync vs 120/144Hz.
Then 60Hz vs 120/144Hz. And You will see where is biggest gain.

Hell, 3weeks ago I messed again with my setup and desktop accidentally ended in 60Hz and game adopted that. I could see that immediately.
Simle as that 60Hz should have G/Freesync as mandatory. 120Hz+ is optional.

Another possibility is: In case user actually do not have HW capable to pull 120+ fps and is just around 45-60, then such for sure can benefit well from proper syncing/timing.

And btw, friend has vg248qe and he prefers to use 120Hz Lightboost than 144Hz as it gives much sharper image. Looks like that screen is not fast enough for 144Hz.

Ah yes I remember you now. You don't like G-Sync, probably because you have an AMD graphics card, we get that.

You have never actually seen G-Sync in action, yet you have lots of theories about it. Sorry but you have no idea what you're talking about, Lightboost looks TERRIBLE compared to G-Sync on these monitors.

Yes I am that guy who stated that both nVidia's G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync are overrated compared to 144Hz with games/HW capable to pull such fps.

And that those technologies are really good for 60Hz/fps people.
Funny thing is that unbelievable amount of people will tell you they do not see difference between 60 and 120Hz, but same people will tell you that new GSync is awesome in comparison to 144Hz.

I would look for truth in those people via psychiatry. (social pressure/placebo)

An if you remember I asked people before to find if my math is flawed and to do real world testing. Reply was basically same like yours: "You are Anti nVidia. And there is no need for tests it works and we believe."

You are free to believe, instead of doing 3 comparisons and see what cause biggest difference.

I'll take the experienced guru's word above that it works... once available, I'll be getting one.
