I've only tested Far Cry 3 so far with it (all settings max, MLAA off and VSYNC off ingame but activated in the driver -> downsampled to 2880 x 1620). I can clearly see a big performance gain here but have an issue: The grass is only rendered next to the player which makes the vegetation poppin' up just a few feet around the player which looks pretty strange. Anyone else has this issue ? I will test some more games as soon I got some time.

I always have it on. Never turned it off and never have a problem.

Our Father Nvidia, Who art in heaven
    Hallowed be Thy Name;
    Thy kingdom come,
    Thy will be done,
on desktop as it is in mobile
Give us this day our daily Geforce,
    and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil.

    Amen.

Reduce CPU usage by saving complied shaders to a disk cache.

*Enabling ShaderCache reduces stuttering and improves load times.
*Disable ShaderCache to save disk space.

You mean the driver option or re-install Windows? I think you meant the driver option right?

Does it REALLY matter if you use DDU? I don't think it does if you use the above option.

Gave Crysis 3 a quick go with these, gained about 20fps on my minimum fps in some places and hitting 120fps with vsync a lot more often than I was, only downside is my cards are running somewhat hotter with the added gpu load lol

Just gave Metro LL a whirl and it really boosted the min. fps, also doesn't have any frame drops that had been there in a few gun fight scenes.

Clean install is the better option, DDU can cause more problems in the long run than it helps and which could lead to needing a reinstallation of Windows. Only use it as a last resort, and if you have to resort to DDU to correctly install the drivers, then you have deeper problems within Windows you should take care of.

Driver is working as intended. The perfect test for this is the 3DMark 11 physics test (not the combined final test). I've always got worse results using an Nvidia card which is weird because the physics test is rendering so little. The new driver gives me the same results as when using a AMD card which tells me this newer driver is lighter on the CPU.

I do have Windows 8.1 as well...I try to fiddle around some more. Might be something within the settings. What are your ingame settings if I may ask ?

Failing for me also with "code 43" on both of my cards, Windows 8.1 x64, GTX 580 SLI.

    Clean install - same error
    DDU - same error

Going to have to try a clean OS install tomorrow...
