I know your pain, I had nonstop bsod-arama on my asrock z68 extreme7 with my msi 290's that i just bit the bullet and had to do a sidegrade to a new mobo/haswell...my old 2600k was an awesome clocker :(

But yeh i did find switching to different pci-e slots did help on mine and others.. have u tried that?

Tried changing slots and it didn't help, I've bought this now:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/P8Z77-V-Motherboard-CrossFireX-Intelligent-Processors/dp/B007KZQE7Q

I'll get it on monday, sold my other board for £50 so not that bad overall. This new board has far less ports on it though :( I'll probably upgrade when the new chips come out.

I dont think they can do such a thing...even being AMD that would be almost 2 months without a driver, I think thats too much...even for them (I hope :frown:)

AMD stopped releasing monthly driver updates last year, WHQLs anyway - Betas are random

In other news, open-source drivers are working pretty good for me on Linux on my 7850. Get multiple updates (almost) every day

They did say the 14.1 WHQLs would be coming this month, but theres also a 14.4 BETA to come out as well before those, and those will probably be coming Tuesday, on the 295x2 release day.

A new driver won't start till May, as the WHQLs this month, will be the completion of the 14.1s.

I would like myself a new driver today, have had enough of black screens and random DX9 crashes with 14.3-1.0.

I don't always use marketing slides to prove my point, but when I do I use slides that don't show minimum fps or frame times that would prove my drivers deliver what they claim to.

I think this graphs are pretty much pointless.
The 780ti is supposed to be better than the 290x (and also more expansive). Mantle boosted the 290x on par with the 780ti.
Mantle is boosting computers with a "slow" cpu thats the point of mantle. Mantle won't improve anything as long as your CPU is fast enough. That's why comparing mantle with directx on high end hardware is pointless.
