    Awesome. Thanks.

    EDIT:

Apparently my wife already set up an account for me and didn't mention it.

Will the new games coming out for the PS4 require you to purchase the disc for install or will there be a digital option?

Almost all games can be downloaded from PSN however if you get the physical copies you can trade in.

I'd steer clear of digital purchases for two reasons. The biggest is that 500 GB hard drive fills up really quickly with 300mb patches these games have, plus the 40+ GB these games are to download and install if you buy off psn.

Physically copies still need to be installed but will save you some space.

Second, trade-in's. When you're tired of a game, you can take that physical copy to gamestop or wherever and get some credit toward something else. Digital copies, you're stuck with. Learned that lesson the hard way with Madden 25 lol. :bang:

I have no intention of ever trading anything in. Besides, I have already purchased a bigger HDD for it.

They save you no space it installs the whole game on the HDD no matter what.

And Madden 25 pissed me off so much.

What did you pick size and type?

I'm pretty sure it all depends on the game. I don't think EVERYTHING gets installed unless you actually go the digital route.

Well Killzone was 48GB install size BF4 was around 24GB iirc and AC4:BF was around the mid 20's as well. It appears to install the while game and use the disk as a key.

This offer has been out since a few days prior to the consoles release. I was just wondering if anyone state side went this route.

No I didn't I traded an PS3 and a Xbox 360 and a few games towards my PS4 at GameStop. Only paid $50 out of pocket for mine.

I find it shocking the Xboxone version of Titanfall doesn't have anything higher than 792p - I know it would probably not have any impact on whether the game is fun or not but still, this is the source engine we're talking about here.

Looking forward to games which are not announced yet, like Tekken Tag Tournament, GTA5, GT6/7 and basically any awesome fighting/racing/sports games on the PS4.

Titanfall running at 792p with an erratic framerate of anything between 30 and 60 FPS and with large amounts of very noticeable screen tearing is embarrassing to be frank on a machine that cost £430.

I own both new consoles and while I've been delighted with the PS4 so far, I've been extremely disappointed with the Xbox One. I hardly use it for games - all the multiformat I own are simply better on the PS4 - and it is used more as a passthrough for my Sky+HD box than anything else.

Technically its a machine that costs £350 as it's £400 including Titanfall.

I'm still surprised you bought both Darren, since you don't like things like Kinect and knew the multiplats would be better on the PS4 it seemed like a waste of money when we all know the Xbox will likely be cheaper in the near future.

Just sell your Xbone and be done with it Darren. Nearly every post you make slags it off and has you waxing lyrical about the PS4.
