The official drivers are not working? (APU + dGPU)

 

im deleted gpu drivers. im deleted amd pci root complex drivers. and deleted what is connected root complex. ( it can be bad suprisely process for low knowledge users. attention )

im installed amd pci filter (root complex) driver from dell vendor driver ( same version like catalyst 13.9 - 13.12 )

im installed intel hd graphics xxx.xxx3412 driver from win update. its loading automaticaly from win update ( need twice install )

im installed cat. 13.250.31 driver ( leaked from win update catalog )

im installed lastest control panel from catalyst 14.2 ( im deleting drivers in amd directory and started setup )

im installed LeeKM patch.

and then get best result dx9 game ( hawken )

power management fully working. desktop usage smooth. stability very good.

 

My laptop is Dell 15r inspiron 5537, Intel 4400 switchable to ATI radeon 8850m,

uninstalled previous driver, scan my system with CC Cleaner

i installed catalyst 14.2, then installed the patch,

still..

display driver is still crashing.. just like the 14.1.

I guess this one's still not for me. I'm going to go back to my previous driver.

 

im have inspiron 15r 7520. may be our notebooks enduro base both near. im founded realy good solutions. i will write something for u.

u have x64 window 8.1 ( best for u. if not using u need it )

cat 14.1 cat 14.2 and ver 13.30x releases have power management issue with dell notebooks. if u disable ulps from regedit can work but its drain your battery life like 1 hour. amd gpu can not idle. cat 14.1 series incompatible with lots of dell notebooks now. inoperative

can u format your computer without drivers ( not dells recovery )
after can u install drivers one by one.

i will explain someting but best way is on one by one driver instal after standart format.

 

After disabling ULPS, i opened 1 game, then it didn't crash. I think my problem is solved now. Thanks for the help!

 

its praticaly solution. if u not need battery life. if u see bad firefox scrooling or flash video random stuttering if u need more fix u can send private message.

I would like you to help me with a problem with my notebook with AMD Enduro.

My problem is with random stuttering in flash videos and occasionally in games.
Before this problem occurred, I installed Windows 7 x64 on my notebook with Catalyst 13.12 WHQL. Under that system had no problems, the gaming performance was excellent.

Then I migrated to Windows 8.1 x64 and exactly the same drivers problem with stuttering randomly flash videos is presented. Not only that, my games now have a lousy performance and there are also some stuttering when textures are loaded.
Then in Windows 8.1 upgraded to Catalyst 14.2 and there is still stuttering.

You think you can help me?, I am new to this topic
I have little time to Windows 8.1. I would appreciate you to answer me.

HP Pavilion g4-2082la, Intel HD 3000 + Radeon 7670M, 4GB Ram, Windows 8.1 x64, Intel v.3347 - Catalyst 14.2

 

if u upgrade windows 8 from windows 7 without erase 7 than i can write best one ise format your system and start from win 8.1 install.

im using driver from windows update version 13.250.31.0. and im tweaked catalyst software settings from regedit. i get a bulseye but what is effective im dont know.

I modified my regedit like you said and I think it is solved stuttering. Reproduced 1/2 hour a flash video and did not stutter, hopefully that is already fixed
To clarify something: I installed Windows 8.1 from scratch, I formatted.

I have still the problem of low performance in games. Before I had a better performance in Windows 7, and now in Windows 8.1 worse performance.
Can you help me with that?
I applied the Fix leekm and improves somewhat, but the performance is still lower than that of Windows 7.

Should I install a better driver for my notebook?, I do not care if it is older, I have little time to Windows 8.1 and so I have not tried many drivers.

this is pure driver from win update. not including setup.exe or amd pci bus driver or catalyst control center.

u installed amd pci driver from windows update. if u uninstall amd driver and if u use last ddu. it will not clean. u need it. pls dont touch pci bus driver.

u can remove amd driver with ddu. or first u can erase ( with driver remove option check ) it from hardware device manager tree after use ddu its better.

if there is catalyst control center present pls remove it from add remove software.

uninstall LeeKM patch.

i sended a cab file u can open it with wirar like rar file to a temporay directory.

after doed this and when rebooted device manager will show u unknown vga device. or microsoft vga device near the hd graphics 4000 at display devices menu.

select it. search driver search option and select temporary directory. it will load driver when done pls wait stop hdd led.

u remember regedit.

after doing this. u can download last amd 14.2. when u start its setup it will extract their files in c:\amd\ directory. it will start install dont install. exit.

go amd directory find 14.2 files there is packages \ drivers directory. delete drivers directory.

back to main amd directory. start setup. and comple setup. i will install lastest control panel its compatible with your driver.

try it. if not enough u can try LeeKM patch. their pathes great. but u can try different situations.

and your screen card is not gcn. leekm patch is builded for gcn enduro cards firstly.

but its near to 13.150 like pci bus driver.
my adviced settings good with adviced driver. im tried 14.2 and 14.1 they are not good in my notebook.

 

Screen tearing, software or hardware problem?

I have been noticing now that there is an almost invisible horizontal line which appears to move up my display screen from bottom to top when I am playing games, or scrolling withing programs or on the Internet. I have seen this on Skyrim now for the first time. It also appears on my display screen when I am scrolling up and down. There is no rolling horizontal line moving upwards when I am not gaming, but I see one when I am scrolling up and down in programs and on the Internet.
Is this what is called screen-tearing like what I have heard people talk about in gaming?
I am wondering if this is the result of the latest Catalyst 14.1/14.2 "fix" updates that we have been using, or is it a result of a bad IGPU or DGPU?

Since this is new to me, I have no idea if this is a driver/software issue or a hardware one.

I recently updated to the newest and latest Intel HD4000 drivers, along with the 14.1/14.2 CCC driver updates that you have provided us.

I have no idea of what this is. Anyone else out there have any ideas?
