Rofl everyone wants to milk cod, :D that's hilarious man.

Cod was once a true great esports game, but.. after mw2 and the loss of dedicated servers it quickly lost its value.

Except now it's like some sordid milking table with a different studio taking the job of the tugger, and the ones who buy the game are lying down and taking it...

It should be a good thing. 3 years per game hopefully means Treyarch is doing something about the engine? This year is sledgehammer's turn ... insta skip :p

I think they do a similar thing with AC (as in different studious working simultaneously on different sequels) so if done right this could be a good thing in the long run. But then again I kind of lost hope in COD ever since MW2... I think for a FPS it would be wiser to go BF route, release a new game every 2 years with optional DLC inbetween.

if they had any sense, they'd merge the three studios and spend a year or two on a single (actually good) title. That said World at War and the first Black Ops were a lot of fun.

the thing is, while MW3 had MASSIVE amounts of bull**** in it, it is the cod i enjoyed the most. I have played it for over 2k hours, and still play it. Just make sure you grab the FoV fix and Framerate unlocker, set iw5mp.exe to normal priority to remove mouse weirdness, play on servers with admins.... etc.

The game is bad. Very bad. Nobody can deny that. If you want a well-made game, play battlefield, arma or crysis. but i don't want a good game, i want a game where i can run around and mow down people, get specialist streaks and the occasional moab.

so that's why i'm actually excited for mw4

Loss of dedicated servers caused a LOT of headaches. I hated the new way of doing games.

The dedicated servers thing is the one that annoys me most because they usually had admins that would police the game quite well now it's complete chaos.

I used to love this game. Now it's just boring and repetitive. Time to knock it on the head and come up with something new.

passed around like a cheap you know what.
imo this bit of news has just lowered the uberness of the gaming scene.
what do we save and spend our monies on? feeding the machine? if that's so i'm out, i'll sell it all.
bf4 was unloved too, poor bitch.
tho the worst case was recent aliens cm.

I will no longer play this series. They can claim all they want that the next version is the best version yet.

I will fix a certain sentence in the article.

"The three are rotating in the yearly release re-cycle."
