Been years since I looked into monitors.

Has any manufacturer managed to produce a really fast responding IPS ?

Or are there any TN's that also look really nice for pq ( assuming you're looking straight at it that is ) ?

I kept on using a quality CTX c.r.t. because at the time it was just too hard to find a flat monitor great at both. Has that changed ?

I ordered the $330 Yamakasi DS270 SE 27" AH-IPS monitor because of small dot pitch and good color, response time is a decent 6ms.

I came here to find out a few things at a time when I am about to change PC or re-make an old one. I'm quite out of touch.

My best thread was actually about the talking cats, but that one got closed.

How about a thread about a global war for oil, as part of a big cat take over conspiracy ? :)

Off topic your own thread, well done n00b. Closed this one for you as well.

Your stay will be short if you fail to follow the rules.
