It's never shown my overclock for my i5 or i7. Don't know why.

I might pull the trigger on a Gigabyte 290X for 479€.

The other option would be normal 290 for 385.. (a 2nd hand 1 day used MSI Gaming goes for 370, but that's only the starting price so, might go up).

At best I could sell the 7950 for 250€.

hahaah rofl XD:D you just confirmed it to me man, there's nothing we can do now all hope is lost,

*few days later buys 290x rofl*

Nah.. we'll see what happens.. I'm still pondering whether the X is worth the 94 more euros. If I'm 1440p.. then, must be. :p Can't be arsed OCing, want a cool and quiet card. (Well probably I'll oc the heck outta it, but.. XD:D ..yeah maybe a minor oc then)

I just don't see the justification for the extra €. It's like the difference between a 670 and 680. You see which cards I went for.

Guys, one question. Have you experienced small artefacts in Heaven? Well, I'm. But I only have that problem with Heaven. When gaming comes, everything is fine.

I'd say lower down your oc a lil bit? If artifacts it's unstable.

But no problems when gaming... Only in Heaven... I don't want to lower down my OC only because Heaven doesn't work well. And yes, I was set my OC to default and problem was still there.

I'm not sure man.. I might pay the extra and go for the X after all in the end, I'll see.

I just need to see some 290 OC vs 290X OC 3dmark figures, so I can make up my mind.

Thanks anyways for your suggestion though.

Hmm ok, that's weird. Then it must be Heaven then yeah after all.. I guess, not sure.

I doubt it's Heaven, I've never had artifacts in it unless my overclock wasn't stable.

if your oc is 100% stable heaven will be 100% stable.
though on the latest driver I got random restarts with heaven

Does it happen by Dragon part when it circles around it, more precisely at one particular spot - upper/lower right corner? (apparently nvidia bug)

Or does it have blue flashes time to time? (driver bug, but waay back)

As for 334.xx driver, no issues here and I used very high gpu OC last time I ran it.. Apart from that 1sec glitch by Dragon in upper right corner.

You're welcome :), funny thing I noticed this waaay back v2.0? and its still the same now.. Although now its not so visible.

And its kinda driver depended, not all have it..
Imo its some glitch with tessellation + DOF.
