Nothing is fine, still lacks support for Notebooks. Mantle on Notebooks is much more needed than on desktops

In 5 hours it would be the perfect moment for the mantle driver to be realeased.

I reckon this is how it went down.

DICE gets the patch on the servers ready and asks AMD for clarification as to which GPU's are initially supported.

AMD replies with something like "primarily AMD Radeon™ R9 290X, R9 290, R7 260X and “Kaveri” APU and all other GCN cards"

EA/DICE doesn't bother noting the "All other GCN cards" since it's not Hardware specific, i.e HD 7950 / 7970 / 7850 etc etc.

I don't think it's as easy as entering a gpu number in a config file or such.
i'm totally seeing a 290 and 290x haze right now.
    just my thoughts.

it might, as its a scratch build rather than a patch like bf4.

I really hope so. My disappointment wouldn't be so big then.

    why r u disappointed?

better than adveretized gains on APU..they said 40%, and its like over 50.

We all knew that the best gains were going to be on low end cpus...

Ill take 10% on high end, thats enough to push borderline FPS over 60.

    Its like a free Overclcock.

Cant posts links yet but AMD Gaming Facebook clarified that all GCN cards will get Mantle but will require further optimization. So the performance gain might be lower at first.

Edit: Ah damn already posted. Then the waiting for the drivers continuous.

I'm disappointed because Mantle won't support Enduro yet. Without any doubt performance increase will be really big, because I use a pretty strong GCN dedicated GPU and a midrange APU CPU. But it just bothers me that I have to wait even longer for Mantle.
