Hi, any benches for games like cod ghosts, bf4, grid 2, dirt 3 all maxed out at 1080p. Also what is the idle and heavy load max temperature? thanks

Are the R9 290 black screens purely driver related or hardware ?

I had a black flickering screen right after the windows 8 logo after installing the 13.11 drivers that came on the disk. Once I was able to install the 13.12 drivers from amd.com it's been perfect since then. As far as I can decipher from what I've read etc. it's a driver issue.

Idle is 36/37c gaming is around 75c

It can keep 60fps with no drops in all them games maxed out at 1080p

    I have bf4 120res scale + sweetfx and it's locked at 60fps.

It's running at 1100mhz at the moment no problems so far. I'll push it some more once I know this is 100% stable.

Oh and I;ve not had a single problem since getting the card, no crashes no black screen ect all working great.

Im toying with the idea of getting a one of these ones now, as place ive used quite a few times has got some in, just wondering if im likely to get any compatible issues, as im on the x58 chipset still, i can always try it and see i guess.

In a perfectly quiet room I can barely hear it over my case fans when under full load and fan rpm around 60% To me it's about as quiet as any video card I've owned.

Yeah its dual BIOS, position 1 is Legacy, and position 2 (which is the default), is Legacy and UEFI, well it is on the X which ive got.:)

Whacked mine up to 1080 on the core, and temp stayed the same, @ 77.
