    Mr. CeeJay.dk are you working for SMAA support or you are again so busy with your work? Have you idea for any imprecise ETA for restart your work on sweeFX?

    This finally make Sweetfx working again in BF4 with win8.1 :banana: Very nice works guys!

    Still having some troubles with a few games:

    Bioshock2, it never work in dx10? Does it need some special locations to install?

    Crysis1 64 bit, tried several locations, but I never get it working.
    StarCitizen, the same.

    Nether (beta), the same story, game dir is a mess though.

    My best guess is that there're 2 files you upload for the comparison to work, so you take 2 screenshots of the same shot ,with & without SweetFX , then you upload them to lazynet. I'm not 100% sure though ,i might be wrong

    It's two screenshots, one with SweetFX on and one without.. When you upload your preset to thelazy and add screenshots you have the ability to add a Comparison shot which should be the screenshot of the game with sweetFX off. It's just part of the site, it's not a sweetfx feature. xD

    Nope, you're right.

    And like Zomgerd said, it's not a SweetFX feature.

    FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I SOMEONE HELP.

    i upgraded my system from 8 to 8.1 last night and i totally forgot that sweetfx breaks in 8.1.

    i've tried download someone posted for sweetfx+eFX and i cant seem to get it to work in call of duty black ops 2.

    this is driving me nuts. can someone please help me out. i dont know if im being stupid and missing a step. i copied the files to the game directory and game loads but changes dont appear and the toggle does not change settings.

    and i REALLY dont want to use radeon pro. its outdated and i was having issues with stuff crashing when using it a while back (before 64bit support)

    thanks

    ^ first read this:

    Straight from the eFX website

    Installation process is pretty straight forward and similar to the one of “eFX 1.0" Choose either “eFX32" or “eFX64" depending on your game using 32 or 64 bit (it doesn’t care about the operating system here). Rename the file to one of the supported wrappers and put it into directory your games executable lies in. The supported wrapper names include:

    d3d9 (Direct3D 9)
    d3d10 (Direct3D 10)
    d3d10_1 (Direct3D 10.1)
    d3d11 (Direct3D 11 and 11.1)
    dxgi
    dinput8
    xinput1_3
    opengl32 (OpenGL)

    Obviously ignore OpenGL, DX9, DX10 and either inputs as they aren't supported by BLOPS 2.

    If renaming doesn't work then you're pretty out of luck.. Very unfortunate you upgraded your system last night.

    Hmm...no, thats not what i mean (dont know what u mean either :) )
    Theres this SweetFX_preset.txt file, right? ok, inside says something like #include "..\..\SweetFX_settings.txt"
    well, what im asking, is if i can add another preset.
    For example, lets say i edit that so it says something like:

    #include "..\..\SweetFX_settings.txt"
    #include "..\..\SweetFX_alternative_settings.txt"

    So while im playing, I press the on/off button, (which normally enables/disables the effects) and goes from: off -> settings -> alternative settings -> off -> settings -> alternative settings -> etc..
    all without alt-tabbing, IN-GAME
    Of course revised the previous threads, i think it was Ninjafada who posted a script or code or whatever to make it possible, but couldnt find it :/
    So i PM him, but nothing.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Thank you guys (y)

    EDIT: IF IM JUST BEING IGNORED AGAIN BECAUSE OF MY "SUSPICIOUS" NICKNAME, ITS A SILLY WAY OF CALLING A FART WHERE I LIVE (we speak spanish here). PEDO = FART.

    I renamed it to the dx11 one and no luck. The game runs in DX 11 so if renaming it didn't work I'm screwed?

    Have you tried dxgi?

    If that doesn't work then yes I would say you are SOL unless you downgrade to win8 for awhile but I'm gonna guess you wouldn't cause quite frankly neither would I. xD

    lol. i got it to work with radeonpro. so far im not having issues with it. before i tried radeonpro on 8.1 release preview i was having issues. so far as good. i just hate having a bunch of **** open. cause now i have 3 hooking things running. radeonpro, sweet fx (though it), steam overlay, msi afterburner and i guess nvidia shadowplay counts as well.

    and i guess there's an update rumored to come out soon. not sure what they are calling it. if its 8.2? or just an update. but yeah http://www.infoworld.com/t/microsoft-windows/windows-81-pirate-beta-due-any-time-its-yawner-234053

    Doesn't work at all with Might and Magic X: Legacy. Just crashes on startup.

    You can do that with SweetFX Configurator but you have to alt tab out of the game.
    With SweetFX Configurator you can load has many different presets has you want the only thing is you have to alt tab out of the game then you can change the presets with SweetFX Configurator go back into the game and reload the effects.

    I know you said you don't want to alt tab out but this is the only way I know of.

    @NuBiXx
    I really appreciate your response, thanks NuBiXx ;)

    CeeJay, is there a reason to not implement the preset swithcing in some future version? thanks.

    Correct SMAA support needs more work on both the shaders and eFX.
    I'm busy with other stuff and right now I think Crosire is too.

    No ETA sorry.
