"Mantle API would further leverage performance for these APUs and a setup of AMD’s A10-7850K and Radeon R9 290X will deliver upto 45% improvement over the DirectX API"?
What about the 7000 GPU series is going to support mantle too?

Yes, Mantle supports HD 7000 Series too, every GCN GPU. That's just a example.

    Link?

If Mantle is included, the next question is when will DICE update BF4 to support Mantle!

According to AMD, any GCN GPU will initially support Mantle (so higher-end 7xxx GPUs and higher).

For some reason this driver makes my 290 throttle like crazy. Even without any OC as soon as i play any game my clock goes all the way down to 600-700. Powertune settings seems to not do anything.

I've done 2 clean installs with DDU, nothing. Rollback to 13.12, everything works great again, including my 1150/1400 Overclock. Then i tried to do a clean install of this driver again, everything gets broken again.

Idk if it's just me but it seems that this driver doesn't really like my 290.

    same error. ( intel hd 4000 + rhd 7730m - inspiron 7520 )

im cleaned intel driver and amd driver with ddu in win secure mode. im cleaned old pci pnp amd driver. ( after lots of hardware need. )

firstly im installed radeon dgpu driver.
second intel igpu driver ( last driver from automatic windows update )

only one time im started amd gpu test ok. but after reset same error again.

i cant start amd gpu again. when system started coming hardware changed message and reeboot again. same error....

one time new driver worked but after reset not worked. i cant do it again... weird.

I played Skyrim and Battlefield 4 with these over four hours today, no problems at all. I did complete driver wipeout before installing. GPU usage and fps was great on both games.

im used ddu uninstaller last version before but same error.
some configirations doing this error some not. im thinking this driver have realy difference in deep but im thinking driver installation routine can be more compatible with different specifications.

and amd must do offical cleaner for all windows!

You know why don't you? This driver is not for Discrete GPU's. Thracks told me himself. I notice throttling in every game i play. I've since gone back to 13.12 WHQL and things work nicely.

    My basic uninstalling method is:

    1. Uninstall the drivers with newest DDU uninstaller in minimal safe-mode

    2. Reboot back to normal mode, then scan and uninstall left overs with Treexy Driver Fusion Premium

    3. Reboot

    5. Check from Windows device manager that it says " Microsoft basic display adapter" if it does ==>

    4. Install the driver

    5. Reboot

    6. Done!

Note: I was getting DxError with Battlefield 4 because of too high GPU coreclock(1100/1500MHz), error stopped when I change settings to 1075MHz/1425MHz

I'm using the 7670m 1gb dd3 + 7660g dual graphics and it is still broken with this driver so gaming is better off with the 7670m alone. To be precise the min fps when dual graphics is enabled are lower than when I use the 7670m which makes the games unstable and thus not very playable.I do get a boost with the max frames and you can actually see the difference but that is almost never the case  .On the bright side I noticed a few fps boost when i'm using just the 7670m so this driver is a keeper! I hope dual graphics will be fixed with the 13.35 release or in the near future.

Is it just me or did these drivers fix GPU2 running at 99% all the time in Crossfire?
    Thank god.

Same with my HD 8750m+ AMD A8 configuration, but 13.35 will fix Dual Graphics with Frame Pacing and maybe further improvements so we will get the max FPS all the time without stuttering :)
