Yeah which got me as well, as the API has to be in the drivers so the games can use it, so they do have to release it.

Are these the 14.1's then for desktops, as the 13.30's were shown on that Kaveri APU slide, that showed the up to 45% faster in BF4.

EDIT: Yup, unconfirmed about BF4 Mantle in Feb, we'll see.

My r9 280x keeps showing up as a 7900 when I try to install these drivers so I updated everything but the graphics driver (sata, pci bus, Amd smbus).

 

is there a chance this is 13.11 beta 9.9? amd was meant to put that online at some point.

 

Well, I can take a guess, Dice set priority to get BF4 stable first and they need to synchronise certain thing before the final mantle patch? I can fully understand and it's fine with me, it will come. But basic functions like v-sync not getting adressed quickly is beyond me...Putting out a next driver which again has this bug, is plain pissing in our face..

Also the blackscreen issue is alive and kicking I guess?

 

Driver runs very well for me @ Bf4... Its deffff a KEEPER!

Will give these a miss asder, as they are just Kaveri drivers, confirmed by an AMD rep on clockers.

Guess what? This driver finally fixes the screen jumping problem that was introduced in one of the first 13.11 beta drivers.
Now I can revert back to normal 2D clocks instead of higher clocks to fix the jumping

Tired of using MSI afterburner to control fan. Arrange this R9 290

 

Linux one was only 124MB (and even had a few unneeded manuals and documents). The Windows driver is usually double that... 500MB is about the size of a XP install disc.

Doesn't AMD usually always throw in more stuff in drivers than they say?

 

Your R9 280x IS a 7900 series card.

 

AHCI driver included to this package made my pc impossible to boot. I had to make a system restore. Anyone else with problem like this?
