I have in mind to buy that new G-sync monitor. From what I know it is not compatible with 3dvision. There is great advantage to get a G-sync monitor so I think I will get rid of my 3dvision one. Comments are welcome :3eyes:
That's what Tom said in an interview although I don't think they can run together, but the option for either one should be available on G-Sync monitors.
What i noticed is that there is no transmitter for the glasses on the Asus pg278q. It will be difficult to have 3d Wit out those glasses. ManuelG said on Nvidia forum. G-Sync and 3D Vision can't work together. If you enable 3D Vision, it will disable G-Sync.:3eyes:
G-sync is excellent, I can vouch for that but not being able to run 3D vision at the same time is very poor from Nvidia.
use 3d vision on well supported games and gsync on the others. u may note: the frequent lack of 3d support can be a pro in this case
The monitors all support 3d vision but you need to buy the transmitter in order for it to work. There are only a handful of monitors that have them built in IIRC. And no, you can't use 3d and G-sync at the same time.
I recommend you ask this question and any other 3D Vision related questions on this forum. https://forums.geforce.com/default/board/49/3d-vision/ This is where the guys that make the 3D Vision fixes and are keeping it alive, found here, http://helixmod.blogspot.ca/ hang out.
