Compare your specs with his before talking about how he should expect the game to perform.

It would be nice if NVidia could make a light version of the driver package including the driver, control panel, PhysX and the HDMI audio driver...but until the masses (computer noobs) start to learn how to use a computer then other packages such as .NET and other bloat must be included as it's less pain on NVidia support.

You guys really need to chill out.

With the holidays, this driver is an old build yes. We will get something new next batch more than likely.

Nvidia probably submitted this before Christmas, but they just now got them back certified.

On a brighter note. This set works just as good as the last. No issues to report.

ManuelG please, send this to the driver team!!!

Also, I think even PhysX could be out of the "light" package, since it's not useful for most of the games! Then there could be separate updates for it, like before!

Nah, we just need smarter users who don't go through express install and instead use the custom install option.

Select graphics driver and PhysX. That's it. Done. Easy.

I installed these new drivers earlier - Custom install minus the two 3D options - and now ShadowPlay won't work as the options are all greyed out and clicking on the big button to the right does nothing. Yet GeForce Experience v1.8.1.0 shows that my PC is ShadowPlay Ready. I've also checked Services and the NVIDIA Streamer service is set to Automatic and running. I've even rebooted in case it was something to do with that.

This was working fine with the previous 331.93 driver so why isn't it working now?

You're missing the point. I don't want to re-download everything every driver update... Just what matters. Saves HDD space and network bandwidth. :stewpid:

    Do you have other benchmarks?

I see 2fps boost by min fps, but that can sometimes be fluke, did you ran at least 2 times and it always showed 2fps difference? :)

250MB? How tiny is your HDD? And why can't you delete it after the install ?

Runs great, as the last driver. Look at the nasty drivers we had a year back, a nightmare, at least now it's going somewhere! :)

It never was broken with external framerate limiters?

Idk about build-in nvidia one.. I didn't use that for a long time, Imho its not smooth like MSI afterburner or DxTory.

Doesn't matter. It won't take too much HDD space (you don't have to install everything and you can remove the exacted files after installation is finished). No bandwidth cap and download takes less than one minute anyway (I'm on 4G LTE connection). Even if it would take one hour to download, it hardly matter since you download it maybe once per month. Although, it's the display driver part that actually takes is the largest part, by far.

    tried them, uninstalled them.

314.22 forever, best drivers ever for me, but i always try new drivers just in case :D it's just that i get no fixes (because my games run perfectly and look great) or any increase performance wise (bench or gameplay) infact games run worse and seem far too hitchy.

    so sticking to 314.22 ftw.
